Dawn woke up to a tight grip around her waist and the quiet sounds of Kol snoring lightly, she sighed as she stared at his face smiling, she was still in disbelief that they were still together after everything that has happened but considering everything that has happened one thing that will never change between them is

their love

"good morning my love" Kol muttered sleepy, with his eyes still closed and she smiled

"morning" she said back and a hand went to his face and she started stroking his face and Kol sighed relaxing even more than he was into her touch "we need to get up" Dawn whispered and a small pout rested on Kol's face which made Dawn giggle

"no" he said and pulled her closer like a teddy bear, her face was buried into his chest "5 more minutes" he said and she sighed giving in and nodded and snuggled up into him

Rebekah, Marcel, Klaus, Elijah, Freya and Hope all sat down waiting for Dawn and Kol to get up "how the hell are they still asleep?" Marcel asks

"well Dawn is the sleepiest person you will ever meet and most of the time when Kol is with her he's the same" Klaus explained and Marcel chuckled

Rebekah huffed and had a small pout on her face "I'm going to wake their lazy asses up because its half one in the afternoon and i want to open my presents" Rebekah stated and walked up stairs

"oh no" Elijah quietly and Hayley looked at him confused "we are going to have one grumpy Dawn" he said and they both quietly chuckled

Rebekah walked down the stairs with a blanket and a pillow, they all looked at her confused "Dawn is mean" she said like a 6 year old child

"so you took their blanket and pillow?" Freya asked

"no, she threw the pillow at me so i took their blanket" Rebekah grumbled and sat down next to Marcel and not to long after Kol came down the stairs with Dawn following and a blanket wrapped around her "i thought i took that i away from you" Rebekah said confused

"ha, you really think that i, wont have another one, god you really don't know me" she said the last part in fake sadness and Rebekah huffed and gave her back the bigger blanket that she had taken away from her and Dawn took it and wrapped it around her on top of the one she already had on her and that fake sadness look was replaced with a smile and she sat down on Kol's lap as there weren't any where else to sit

"what time is it?" Kol asked changing the subject from Rebekah and Dawn

"almost 2 in the afternoon" Elijah replied and Kol's eye's widen

"really that's not that late, if I'm being honest that pretty early" Dawn replied shrugging and they all raise eyebrows at her "what I'm a sleeper" and before anyone could comment Hope started giggling and clapping her hands "see she gets it" Dawn said pointing to Hope who was sitting on Hayley's knee's

"can we open presents now" Rebekah whined, she loved Christmas. they all nodded and went to get the presents and put them all down in front of them all

Klaus got Dawn a gorgeous emerald necklace, that was 400 years old and that he stole from a princess but she doesn't need to know that. Rebekah and Marcel got her a cheeky red lace underwear set, it was more Rebekah's gift as Marcel didn't know what to get her, she blushed hard at looking at. Freya and Hayley got her a new pair of shoe's together. Elijah got her an adorable baby Labrador retriever that she loved straight away.

"what are you going to name her darling" Kol asked and she looked at him and smiled

"how bout, Diana?" she said and Kol and Dawn maintained eye contact for what feels like forever
