As soon as I came home from work my momma had to leave so she could go to her job so I've been busy with Kaleia, who seemed to be kinda cranky today
"Leia babygirl, ima need you to get it together" I said to her as I tried to get her quiet, patting her back softly while I tried to catch up on some work on my computer, work I already told mr lakes I wouldn't be able to do at home but he didn't care that I have a whole child to care for now
I tried to read the information on the email but I was constantly getting distracted by my babygirl's cries
"Baby what's wrong? I just fed you and changed your diaper. I can't concentrate with you acting up"
I knew she probably just wanted my attention with her overly spoiled ass. And I know that my job is important but right now is my time with my child so that's just gonna have to wait until tomorrow. I'll deal with his mouth later. I closed the computer and got up, going into her room, grabbed the blanket we use for her whenever she's on the ground. I laid the blanket down and laid her on her stomach. Kaleia instantly rolled onto her back and I grabbed one of her toys then started to play with her, which proved she wanted my attention
I played with her for a while, tryina get her to sit up and also tryina get her to learn to start crawling.
"Come on princess, sit up with mommy" I told her with a laugh and she smiled as I heard a knock on the door. I picked Kaleia up and walked out of her room "I wonder who that is? Hopefully it's somebody that can give mommy a break for a little bit cause mommy has been up since one this morning"
Once I made it to the door I opened it and my whole smile went away once I saw that it was Scooter
"Hey daddy's favorite girl" he instantly smiled at Kaleia, taking her right out of my arms and walked right on in. I closed the door behind him and watched as he went to sit on the chair with her
"Daddy misses you pretty girl"
"Daddy should've called before coming over" I bluntly said and he dropped his smile, keeping his eyes and not even looking up at me
"Daddy does what he want when his name still on the bills"
I rolled my eyes and walked out of the living room, going down the hall to my room and grabbed my phone to see if I had any messages. I had a couple of missed calls, one from mj, karma and two from mr lakes. Probably asking me to do more work tonight. I just put my phone back down, let out a yawn cause I really was tired as hell, and went back to the living room and saw scooter still playing with Kaleia
