Chapter 8 || The Fall, Sleep, and Regeneration

!!Some swearing, blood, and broken bones!!

Dream slowly regained his senses, he was laying on something soft, which he realized was the forest floor,

"What are you going to do with him?" He heard a voice say, too tired to recognize it,

"Wait until he wakes up idiot!" Another voice yelled,

"You probably just woke him up!" Another voice hissed,

"Who even are you though?" Another voice asked,

"None of your business!" The second voice snapped,

Dream shifted positions, and the voices went silent,

"I think he's awake.." a third voice whispered,

"You think? No shit he's awake dumb-ass!" A fourth voice yelled, Dream flinched from the noise, "Why's he always flinching?" Another voice asked,

"No idea," the second voice said, Dream's eyes slowly opened everything thing was still blurry, he groaned as pain and cold slowly came to him, he had a splitting headache,

His eyes finally saw clear and he slowly sat up, XD, Drista, Wilbur, Phil, Tommy, and Techno stood staring at him,

"What.. happened?.." he said slowly rubbing his head in pain,

XD rushed towards him, "Are you alright? What happened? It hurt you so much, look at yourself! Actually don't look at yourself!" XD asked,

Dream looked down anyway to see he was wearing his original clothes but there was multiple rips and patches of blood, there were bandages on what he guessed were the wounds he could see,

Dream felt a scream build up in his throat, it hurt so much looking at the wounds, he felt like he was going to faint again, he noticed his leg was twisted in a weird angle, he probably broke it when he fell,

"Hey- Dream! Look at me! Don't pass out on us now! I told you not to look!" XD told him, "I think I am.." Dream said quietly and slowly, Dream slowly went limp in XD's arms, he had passed out again,

"Did he pass out again?" Drista asked walking towards XD, Tommy, Phil, and Wilbur followed her,

XD sighed and nodded, Drista groaned, "I'm not flying him again," Drista told him,

"Wait- again? Drista, you know that you and your wings are still getting stronger, why did you try to fly him?!" XD scolded,

"I thought I could try.." Drista whined, "Wait- Drista?" Tommy exclaimed, Drista looked at him, "Yeah?" She asked,

"You were spying on us?" Tommy asked, "I was bored," Drista shrugged, XD sighed, "I'll fly him home, thank you for patching him up and not killing him," XD thanked,

"It's fine, anyone would, he did get pretty hurt when he fell," Phil told him, XD nodded, "I'll talk to him when we get home,"

XD dug around in his inventory and pulled out a compass that looked like an ender eye, "Here, if you ever need us follow this," XD told Phil as he handed it to him,

"Thank you, and if you're going to spy on us, try to be more sneaky next time," Phil thanked XD then told Drista, Tommy laughed at her,

"Wilbur go tell Techno what happened please," Phil asked, Wilbur nodded and flew off,

"See you around then," XD said and flew off with an injured Dream and annoyed Drista,

XD and Drista landed and XD went inside,
