Chapter 5 || Catching Up and More Nightmares

!!Stabbing, and blood!!

After dinner they decided to catch up in the living room,

The living room had a couple soft couches and chair, in the center was wooden coffee table, the fireplace had a fire in it and had family pictures on the top of it, rarely any had Dream in them though, a lamp and a house plant was placed on either side of the fireplace and a bookshelf lined on of the walls, a cat tree was in the corner and Dream gasped as he saw a familiar cat in the tree,

"Patches!" He said in joy, he used to have another cat he also named Patches but she was named after the original Patches,

Patches meowed happily and jumped down from the tree and ran over to Dream, Dream picked the cat up and sat down on one of the chairs, smiling happily as he was reunited with his favourite cat, his siblings sat on the other couches,

"How was life on the smp?" Lucid decided to ask,

"It was good, I accidentally started a religion with friends about XD," Dream laughed, "Tommy told me about that!" Drista laughed with him,

"You accidentally started a religion about me?" XD said, stunned, "Yep! Don't ask how, I don't know," Dream told him, Lucid and Nightmare laughed quietly,

"Tommy also said you started wars," Drista added, Dream went silent, "Yes, but so did he," Dream pointed out, XD, Lucid, and Nightmare jumped in surprise at the mention of Dream starting wars, he never seemed like he would,

Drista sighed, "Anything else happen?" Lucid asked, "Well there's an egg that drives people insane," Dream said nonchalantly,

"How can you say that so casually?" XD asks, Dream shrugs, "It's not like it can be stopped anyway, it's impossible to break without being corrupted by it," Dream told them,

They talk for a little bit longer before Dream started to get tired, Dream yawned, "What time is it..?" He said tiredly, "Uh.. 9;52-" Lucid started but randomly stopped, "Are you getting tired? Already? It's so early!" Lucid joked with a laugh,

"Hm, whatever I'm going to sleep, night guys!" Dream said with a wave, "Night Dream!" They all say in unison with a wave,

Dream walks back to his bedroom and closes the door with a sigh, he gets changed into a shirt and sweatpants, and climbs into bed, and sleeps, and once again, nightmares,

Dream wakes up in a desert, 'huh? Where am I?' He thinks, it's unbearably hot and dry, he could practically feel himself being burned,

"Ha! You're awake!" Dream hears someone say from behind him, he realizes it's the demon he thought he got rid of,

"Nope! Still alive and well!" It mocks, "I have come to haunt your dreams, and ruin your ENTIRE life, AGAIN!" It shrieks, Dream flinches and falls back, but he doesn't stop falling,

Dream was in a void, rapidly falling but he felt something new

The freezing cold hit his back and overtook his body, all the feeling of burning was instantly replaced by the ice cold,

Dream hit the snow with a hiss of pain, he slowly got up, barely able to move his limbs from the freezing cold,

He felt like he was turning blue and purple, he looked around, it was just snow for blocks and blocks,

Dream was shoved to the ground by a gust of freezing wind- no it was a person, he turned around to see a blurred out figure of a person, the only thing about them that wasn't blurry, was the dull bloody knife in their hand,
