[Act 2 Chapter 5] The Mars Campaign

Operation: True Retribution

1st Marine Battalion

Objective: Destroy all NOD forces.

The 1st Marine Battalion is walking through a canyon inside rigs, but they ran into boulder blocked exit.

Bakugo: Fuck, Corporal get this rock out of the way.

Zone Marauder Pilot: Roger.

The Zone Marauder moves the boulder out of the way, making an exit out of the canyon.

Based on the Japanese made Mitsubushi Amplified Mobility Platform, the Zone Marauder is an Powered Assault Walker used by the GDI Marine Corps to give marines heavy-firepower and also act as Heavy-Infantry for GDIMC forces.

Armed with a Heavy Assault Rifle or a Chaingun, the ZM is capable of mowing down infantry and some light vehicles with specially made Depleted-Uranium AP bullets.

Bakugo: Move up.

First constructed to defend Nod bases during the First Tiberium War, this iconic structure is one of the best known and least loved among GDI forces. Massive capacitors charge and discharge a laser - which is aimed by advanced focusing and targeting systems - that can melt composite armor to molten slag and vaporize organic tissue.

Nod Beam Cannons, sharing the similar technology on these towers, can use their ability to fire at these towers, this improves charge frequency and damage up to the point where the Obelisks become practically immobile, very high damage artillery emplacements with higher precision, damage, and range than any other base defense structure.

Last seen during the 2nd Scrin Invasion of Earth, the Disc Thrower is an Anti-Ground unit thats uses special explosive disks, capable of destroying buildings from above or below it. Their long throw distance can even go over narrow rivers and is capable of clearing enemy garrisons.

Bakugo: Disc Throwers up there. [Points to Vinifera Generators]

Disc Thrower: Got it. [Throws Disc]

The Generators were destroyed disabling the entire base.

When GDI forces entered the base it was deserted.

They were confused until Katsuki realizes.

Bakugo: IT'S A TRAP!

Then Cyborgs rises from the ground but these were not ordinary cyborgs. It was the Marked of Kane.
