Elite.
It is a word enough to intimidate people who are knowledgeable about it.
Hazel Gabriella Cross is quiet but a very talented woman once known. She can outshine many if she was headstrong about it. She's a typical girl you'll see around town however her life isn't normal like the others. She has a privileged life with tight security from her parents which somehow made her feel like a bird nesting in a locked cage. Never free. Always suffocated. But she chooses to understand because of what happened to her in the past.
She was food poisoned by the person she least expected to put her life in danger. But after a few years of trying to heal and being okay, she saw that person again. And just when she thought she already moved on and healed from the past, her trauma wouldn't put her to rest. That actually made her have enough.
She decided to live independently; rejecting her parent's protection and security. She went out of her comfort zone and surprisingly met new friends despite her introverted nature. She was happy about going all out and trying new things. Her life has been fun since then. It was enjoyable, like a breath of fresh air. But just when she thought she can have it all, her life suddenly turned upside down. A truth was revealed to her.
And guess what?
She's more than a privileged girl. She's an elite. However, the problem is she's beyond the title of an elite.
She's a royal elite.
A title that holds tremendous and infinite power.
It frightens people by merely hearing that word. It is the most potent title among all classes.
And she's destined to take over the throne. Her throne.
This was her life all along.
This was her truth.
But it was hidden from her for a decade and nine.
She felt all her life was a lie. She felt betrayed to the fullest extent. She feels almost insane — she is going insane.
The truth revelation and the news were shocking to her which made her crumble down. After a short taste of bliss, just when she thought she can have it all, she didn't expect that her life would reach this kind of worst turning point. Traumas went after traumas. Injuries went after injuries. Anxiety and stress came all together at once which made her wonder when will she ever be freed from the chains of restraining freedom.
The darkness followed her impeccably and she hated that she has to pay for a fault that she never even started nor created before. But she has no choice. This was her truth. Her life. She was born to lead the people. She was born to be a Queen.
Oh, not just any ordinary sort of queen.
She's born to be the Queen of Hearts.
The empty throne patiently waited for her long arrival.
Will she survive her new environment?

The story contains massive scenes of heavy abuse, torture, violence, many types of physical torment, and other types of sensitive content. To be honest, this story is a bit gore since the plot of the story escalates into action and it depicts detailed illustrations of blood and different types of wounds in a person's body. And it also includes death scenes. However, as the writer of this story, I'm trying my best to not overdo it since it can be a little scary sometimes. Or maybe I'm a little exaggerating but I'm just trying my best to warn you. So if you don't like that, immediately skip this story and find other books that can manage to satisfy your contentment and satisfaction. Because truth be told, you can't find fluff here. Maybe a little, but that is the main point or highlight of this story.
But moving on, the language used in the story is written in mixed Taglish. However, it carries the dialogues of profanities. And it contains a few typographical errors, grammatical errors, and misplaced punctuation so my sincere advance apologies for that. Keep in mind that no book is perfect but close to perfection, yes that exists. I would also like to inform you that this is my first time writing a series on Wattpad. But I promise you I'm doing my best every time I update new chapters in the story.
Also, this story might disturb a lot of readers which can trigger their comfort being exactly mentioned in their mental well-being. So if you love yourself and your healthy mind state right now, please do yourself a favor and stay away from this book. Kasi sa una lang ito masaya. Sa dulo hindi na (oops, spoiler). And you don't want yourself crying, do you? And of course, I wouldn't want that too since I can't offer you tissue personally and comfort you. Kidding! But I warned you.
But do rest assure that this story is ONLY BASED IN MY PURE IMAGINATION. Please don't take it too seriously since THIS IS FICTION and FAR DETACH FROM REALITY. Please don't make this hard for us and make everything a big deal out of this book since this book's plot is dark (really)... but not horror geez I'm scared of jumpscares, screams, and terrifying faces lol.
Now the question is do you dare to read this book?
