Chapter 14

He put me on his lap but he put his hand over me like a shield.

"Nick its ok" i said as i put my hand against his big finger he lifted his hand away.

"Sorry" he said softly.

" don't be sorry" i said looking up at him.

"Just hold me if you really want to" i said.

He picked me up and he smiled down at me.

"Awww you to are so cute" a female voice said.

I looked up and it was Char how did she get here with out us knowing.

"Hello where did you come from i didn't hear any loud footsteps" i asked.

"I was here the whole time you guys just couldn't see me" she said.

I looked up at nick and then back at Char.

"Where could you hide" i asked.

"That's a secret" she said as she sat down next to nick.

" We should go somewhere else i think those guys are mad but don't want to get Nick mad" she said Ponting to a group of human boys one had a football.

"Sorry" nick said getting up.

Nick followed Char to the giant side of town.

She went to the school and we went to the library.

"Why are we here instead of your house or nick's" i asked.

"No one knows where i live and i don't want Gavin to hear us" she said as she closed the door  we are now in a 5 by 5 foot room it is used for studying.

She sat down next to nick.

"So why are you trusting us" nick asked.

"Because you are different" she said

" What do you mean because we are gay there is a lot of gay people" nick said.

"Not that i just can't read you like i do every one else" she said.

Read us what.

"Read?" I asked .

"Want me to explain" she said.

" Yes" i said

"Then stop talking" she said.

" One don't tell him to stop talking only i can do that " he said.

"Shut up nick" i said.

"Do you want to know" she said.

"Yes" i yelled.

"Ok so stop talking" she said.

She made sure that we won't continue.

" Ok so i can hear things that other people can't " she said.

"Hear things what..." Nick said.

" No talking" she said.

"Ok so should i really be telling you" she said.

" Yes we won't tell anyone " i said.

"Ok so listen" she said.

"When i clear my thoughts i can hear people's voices like a lot at the same time and thats how i know so much i can get into every ones mind i can't read there thoughts only there memories but i can read yours for some reason" she said.

Thats a lot to take in.

"Continue" nick said.

" I know German, Vietnamese, Spanish and many other languages and i don't know how i know them i just do" she said.

"Ok" nick said looking at her.

"So you can read people's memories and you know a lot of languages" i said.

"I can't read yours and i am very good at fighting"

"Can i go home and think about this we can met up later" nick said .

"Yes are you taking matt with you or do you want me to bring him to your house when we are done " she asked.

"I am taking matt" he said.

"Bye see you soon" i said with a smile.

"By matt" she said.

Nick walked home and to his room he sat down and he fell asleep.

I went over to his face and i laid down on his neck and i fell asleep.
