"You're not drinking again."

Kalalabas ko lang ng bathroom when Adam entered my room after several knocks. He eyed on me sharply for seconds at iyon nga'y binalaan ako na hindi na iinom pa. I was still on my pink bathrobe, my damped  hair wrapped in a towel.

"At hindi ka na rin pupunta pa ng Casa Lucio."

I looked at my brother flatly. "That's what Hobie told me kahapon, Kuya."

"You were so irresponsible, Lucy. What if something worse happened to you?"

"Adam," I took a sharp breath and went to my vanity, "Nothing worse happened. Kunting galos lang naman ang natamo ko sa pagkakabagsak."

Hindi ko alam kung ilang sermon pa ang matatanggap ko ngayong araw na'to. Kahapon, I received sermon from Dad, Hobie and my cousins. And now, Adam's sermon served as my breakfast for this morning. He didn't get to scold me yesterday dahil kahapon ng umaga'y lumuwas kaagad ito ng Manila for business whatnot, I guess. Kagabi lang ito bumalik.

"And you're prohibited to use Paris for a month, too. No horseback riding for you, bratty princess."

"Kuya!" I abruptly stood up and face him, "You can't do that! Hindi kasalanan ni Paris that I fell off from her!"

He furrowed. "You think I'm dumb para isipin na kasalanan ng stallion ang pagkakalaglag mo?"

"Then why are you prohibiting me to use Paris?" I pouted lazily, "And no horseback riding for a month?!" I gasped sharply, "No freaking way, Adam! Iyon ang isa sa mga libangan ko dito sa hacienda!"

"This is your punishment, Lucy. And you should even be thankful na ito lang ang parusa mo. Only Hobie and I knew what exactly happened that night because we asked Sandro. Ang alam lang ng magulang natin, you ditched the ball because you got bored and had unreasonable tantrums again. We had your ass covered, little brat. Our parents may not be that strict to you because they trust you to be responsible, but you know Dad can be worse than us if he finds out the truth that you were being recklessly wasted that night kaya ka na aksidente." He smirked at me na parang tinatakot niya ako sa mga konsekwensya ng nagawa ko, "Who knows what dad will do. He might have you grounded or worse... send your beloved Paris back to Spain."

"But Adam," The protest died in my throat when he gave me a warning gaze. I sighed annoyingly.

What my parents knew was that, Paris slipped off the road that's why I fell. They didn't know that I was a drunk little witch that night. And that I was irresponsible. When I was a kid, whenever I do something irresponsibly, Dad will always threatened me to send my Stallion back to Spain where he bought it dahil iyon lang naman ang effective na panakot niya sa'kin. I'm afraid totohanin niya na iyon ngayon.

"But do you really have to prohibit me see and use Paris? What else can I do dito sa hacienda?" Nakasimangot akong umupo sa gilid ng kama.

"Hindi ka na problema pa 'yon, Luzeda." He drawled, "This is what you get for once again letting your craziness dominate you... And about Sandro,"

"Don't tell me you'll also  disallow me in seeing him?"

He took a sharp breath. "God knows how I wanted to, Lucy. I even planned to fire him so that he'll no longer has the reason to come here at malimitahan ang pagtatagpo niyong dalawa."

"Don't you dare, Adam!" I  stood up abruptly from the bed, "You can't do that. Firing Sandro because of me would be unjust. That's unreasonable!"

"You know I can be unreasonably protective of you, Lucy."
