"Call me your little sister again and I'll barf," Rowena furrowed her eyebrows in disgust.
"Hey! I'll have you know that I'm actually around your age metal head!" I huffed, "But yeah, it was uncool. Even still I forgive you, but we better win the games Redfox and Dragneel, cause mark my words if I get put into Sabertooth I will kill you both myself."
"Of course we're gonna win Y/n/n-Chan," Mira said, "for the sake of you, Ena-Chan, and our guild. We won't lose."
"I know," I smiled, "now let's rest, I'm a bit worn out.
Timeskip
The second day and our first game is Chariot, a moving vehicle— would you like to guess who volunteered for this one? We have three dragon slayers who volunteered for this one. The one and only Natsu "Flamebrain" Dragneel, Gajeel "Metal Head" Redfox, and Sting "Bumblebee" Eucliffe.
The whole time I was laughing, I looked over at Rogue and could tell he was trying not to laugh. We made eye contact and we both burst into laughter— you know, the situation that you're not supposed to laugh at but you look at that one person and you both burst into giggles? Yeah, Rogue has always been like my younger brother. Although we were the same age, he always needed me to baby him.
"You guys are so childish," Rowena sighed.
The laughter stopped when Natsu got serious, he gave a whole speech and made it to the finish line. I have to admit, I'm impressed, but that quickly changed right after I realized I've gotta use my magic to heal both Natsu and Gajeel.
"Get over here you reckless asshats," I demanded.
"Language!" Gajeel blurted.
"I- Are we just going to ignore the fact that Metal head just said, 'Language?'" Natsu questioned.
"Shut up and lay down," I smiled as I rolled my eyes, "and for gosh sake watch your language!"
Gajeel sighed as he got up, "That's not going away any time soon."
Natsu was taken to the infirmary soon after, thankfully Wendy is alright now and can participate in the games soon. The first fight was Raven Tail vs. Lamia Scale, needless to say I was cringing the entire time. I saw Lyon facepalm about five times, but really. Who's counting?
At the end, I thought we were about to have a heartfelt moment from a Raven Tail mage— but as always, I set the bar too high. Toby was devastated after losing his sock.
We were up next, Elfman vs. Baccus. Everyone was on the edge of their seats for this one, Elfman did have a smart tactic, but it wore him out in the end and he got hurt really bad. Evergreen was fuming dude, Freed had to keep her from giving Baccus a piece of her mind and trust me keeping her away from something is almost impossible.
I've noticed that I always feel a pair of eyes on me, but I never knew who until now. I looked at the Sabertooth balcony and noticed Sting smirking at me, I blushed and looked away.
"Ohhh~ does our little Y/n/n have a thing for the blonde dragon?" Juvia teased.
"Juju!" I harshly whispered.
"What? I'm just saying you look like a tomato and Sting over there has been giving you heart eyes since day one!" She giggled.
"Old feeling coming back?" Ena teased.
"Like you're one to talk Ena, You and Rogue keep stealing glances from each other when the other isn't looking," Juvia wiggled her eyebrows, making Rowena blush.
"I- am not!" She huffed.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" Gray and Natsu yelled in unison.
I facepalmed and giggled, though my mood changed when Mira and Jenny started their battle— not only that but Mavis was prepared with outfits, the cherry on top of that— Erza practically forced us to participate.
