Lilith awoke in a cold sweat. the only light outside was that of the very full moon. She sighed in relief as she realized what she had just experienced had only been a dream. There was still a part of her that was quite frightened of what it could have meant but she tried not to dwell upon it.

Quickly sat up on her bed and took a moment to regain a kind of composure or balance before standing. Her room was pitch black but she was still able to navigate it enough to pull together some clothes and her bag.

She quickly pulled on a white muscle tank top tucked loosely into some black chino-like pants. She pulled a brown distressed leather jacket over her shoulders and quickly left with her bag.

Silently she made her way through the halls of the castle.

Hermione woke up to the soft chirping of birds and the warm sunlight on her face. She got up slowly and began to get ready. She left her uniform behind as it was a weekend as she was planning on heading to Hogsmeade with some friends for the day.

She did want to stop by the library first, so once she had quickly thrown on some jeans a t-shirt, and a flannel she grabbed her small bag and quickly made her way to the library.

Hermione browsed the many shelves of the library looking for something with answers for her. She had already scoured many texts but was unsuccessful. She had made her way deeper into the library as she read the many titles that sat on the shelves.

On one of the topmost shelves, Hermione found a title that sparked her interest. She reached, but could only barely graze the spine with her fingertips. She struggled and grunted slightly when a larger figure appeared behind her,

"Let me get that for you," The deep warm voice was familiar to Hermione as she watched the ink-stained hands reach the book with ease. Hermione turned around to see Lilith handing the book to her. Her eyes looked heavy with dark purple bags under them. Her muscular arms were in full view as well as the dragon tattoos that lined her torso,

"Thank you," Hermione tried to not look at Lilith as she took the book in her hands. She wanted to leave, but something in her told her to stay put. Lilith looked back at the small table she was seated at, another chair was left open. On the table sprawled out was all kinds of parchment and books,

"There is an extra seat over there if you would like to stay," a soft smile appeared on Liliths face as she looked back at Hermione. Hermione swallowed quickly as she looked at Lilith,m she began to fiddle with the book in her hands,

"I think I might just take this one back to my room, look at it later," She gave a little nod as she spoke trying not to make eye contact,

"As you wish," Lilith replied as she began to turn and walk back to her things,

"Wait!" Hermione called out before she could think, Lilith quickly turned,

"Yes?" Lilith's eyes locked with Hermione's. Every thought Hermione had was now gone as she looked into Lilith's eyes. they stood there in silence as they looked into each other's eyes. Hermione walked closer to Lilith. Lilith closed any distance they had between them and reached for Hermione's hands. After a long moment, Hermione responded hesitantly,

"You... have ink on your hands," She backed away and slipped the book in her bag,

"Thanks," Lilith replied with a sigh as she looked down at her ink-stained hands. When she looked up again Hermione was gone.
