'More like Eric sucks' You thought as you scoffed, for some reason you just didn't like Eric sacks. He had this vibe that you certainly did not like, but you came here because of April. That girl attracts trouble and you had to make sure to be there to join in, because soon she'll meet someone that will change her life. And you wanted to join too. Of course that's not the only reason why you were friends with April, you genuinely are happy to be friends with her.

When sacks was done with his speech, April approached him and of course you followed her.

"Mr. Sacks. April O'Neil. You worked with my father" she said

"Oh, I can't believe it. I haven't seen you since..." He trailed off

"Since his funeral. It was a long time ago" April continued seemingly unfazed

"Yeah" Sacks agreed 

"I just wanted to tell you that your words really resonated with me, and I hope to one day contribute to the city in the way that you do" 

"Well, it looks like you're doing a pretty good job. Channel 6, very impressive, April" Sacks complimented 

April chuckled "ahem, Thank you. It's... it isn't exactly everything I anticipated it would be" 

"As long as you are true to yourself, your father will always be proud of you" he said, he glance behind April and saw you "oh, who is this?"

"This is my friend-" 

"Kambe Y/n" you interrupted her looking at him with a teasing smile as if you were daring him, Eric eyes widened at the surname Kambe.

'How did she manage to be friend with a kambe?' He thought as he glance at April

"Mr. Sacks, we have to be uptown at 07:00" someone whispered 

"I'll see you on tv" He said before leaving
