"He can't even understand me!" Brandt attempted to defend, "Tell him Twin. You don't know what I'm saying, do you?" He know spoke in a baby voice tickling Knox's foot who erupted into a fit of giggles.

"He looks over when his name is called. He understands more than you think." I rolled my eyes, "Can you like be somewhere else?" I shifted the baby in my arms, shooing Brandt away just as Lennox came walking over.

"Hey Gorgeous, your photos look great." I smiled widely, nodding towards the monitor before pecking her lips quickly.

"Yeah they're okay." Len smiled softly in return but I could tell that it wasn't real. "So  Jesse, the photographer actually said he got enough shots of the two of us and we can wrap for the day. Are you ready to get out of here?" She ran a hand through her hair.

"Hey.. Are you alright? Hm?" I wrapped my free arm around her waist pulling her in close to me. The change in our proximity prompted Knox to dive into her arms squealing loudly.

She caught the overactive child with no problem, a now genuine smile spreading across her face. "Hi Stink!" She cooed kissing his chubby cheeks, she briefly turned her attention away from the our smiling son glancing back up at me. "We need to pick up Jayce in an hour so I'm gonna change so we can leave."

Lennox set Knox down on her hip making her way back to the dressing room. I would've offered to hold him, but Len manages to get dressed and get the kids ready almost everyday without any help. I think she'll be fine.  She emerged from the dressing room a short time later clad in the leggings and sweatshirt that she had arrived in the shoot in. With Knox still in her arms, only now his head rested on her shoulder and he appeared to be half-awake. Which tracks considering it's almost time for his nap.

"Is it time to leave? I'm hungry." Brandt's childish ass popped back up, whining dramatically as we all made our way out to the car.

"We are leaving right now... But you're asking if it's time to go?" I furrowed my eyebrows together in confusion. Sometimes I swear he has worms for brains.

He was supposed to be here to help out with the baby, but clearly he wasn't any fucking help. Next time we're leaving him at home.

"Len, you were crying in the fucking shower

"Len, you were crying in the fucking shower. Clearly you're not fine. Why won't you just talk to me?" I sighed running a hand down my face in frustration.

"Stop being dramatic Beckham. There was shampoo in my eye." Lennox responded curtly, strutting across the room to our closet as she was currently only clad in a bath towel.

"You're insufferable."

"I know. It's so upsetting when I won't indulge in your Savior Complex. Give me a fucking break."

That slick ass mouth of hers. "You know what? I'm just gonna leave before I say something I regret. You're really trying to make shit harder than it needs to be. All I did was ask if you're okay! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
