"Hey Riley..."
I've been spending most of my time at Leon's house. He told me the only way to get Riley back is to apologize, confront him about it.
I sat down next to him, tray in hand. I gave Jones a side glance, and gave a smirk. He had already been glaring at me.
"Hey," came a curt reply from him, not even looking up from his food.
"I see you're eating now."
"Yeah."
"I'm sorry for the other night... Riley, I.."
Riley looked at me and gave me a slight smile. "Don't apologize. It's fine. Your friends are calling. Why don't you go?..."
"But..." He was pushing me away? Just like that huh?...
I looked at Jones. He had a mischievous grin on his face. I felt my face scrunch with anger. Saying nothing, I got up and joined the athletic table... Though I couldn't seem to keep my eyes off of Riley. He seemed so happy with Jones... I couldn't believe he would shrug me off... Just because they were together...
I winced at the thought, getting angrier the more I thought about it. I've been his brother for seventeen years. I've been there for him through and through... And he can turn his back on me like that? After everything we've been through? Since that night, he hasn't even looked at me...
Fine. He can have his fucking boyfriend. He can shrug me off. He can ignore me. He can live happily. I won't be here when the happiness fails.
I snickered. Revenge is a bitch. Just wait Riley. Just wait.
