Rachel awoke on her and Calum's five year anniversary with a smile on her face, expecting to see a sleeping Calum curled up peacefully beside her. That, however, is not what she saw. She rolled to face an empty bed and frowned. She couldn't smell food cooking, so she assumed Calum was reading in the living room or something to that affect. When she went into the living room, she saw the dogs curled up on the couch, but no Calum. Rachel immediately began to panic. Calum still didn't leave the apartment under any circumstances yet he was no where in sight. She ran about, calling for him but getting no answer. As her hopes failed her, she sat on the couch and began to weep. Calum didn't have a cellphone since he never left the house. There was no way for her to contact him.

About half an hour later after crying herself back to sleep, Rachel was awoken by the sound of the door shutting. Calum had just walked in. She ran to him, throwing her arms around his neck

"Oh Cal I was so worried!!" She exclaimed. Calum chuckled and stroked her hair.

"I have something for you, my love" he murmured. Rachel looked up at him with wide eyes. Calum lowered himself so he was on one knee and pulled out a small blue box. He opened it to reveal a gorgeous ring that shone in the light. "Rachel I'm so in love with you, and I want to show you how much I love you every day of our lives" he announced "marry me?" Rachel choked on a sob and pulled him up into a kiss

"Oh Calum yes yes!" She squealed "I can't believe you went out all by yourself to get the ring!"

"I'd do anything for you, baby. Anything."
