Door bell rang and mishti opened the door with a big smile.... Abir, not able to look into her eyes, looked somewhere else...
M : bir....tu aagaya?...
A : hmm...
M : yeh kaise huliya banaayi hai tu ne...lagta hai kal party me kuch zyada hi pee liya....jaake nahaake aaja...
A : teek hai....

Abir started to walk towards room,
M : suno...
Abir stopped, though didn't turn back,
M : tu teek hai na?.
Tears welled up inside his eyes... But, he closed his eyes and gulped, and tried to pretend as nothing happened,
A : ha... Mujhe kya hua hai...
M : phir, tu itna dull kyu lag raha hai?.....tired sa lag raha hai..
A : wo.... Wo na, kal party ka hangover abhi tak hai...
M : acchha!!...teek hai....jaa... nahaake aaja....me nashta banaalungi tab tak...
A : ok....
Though mishti observed some wierd changes in him, still he believed his words....

At 11.00am, After having breakfast in complete silence, abir stood to leave for his room.... Mishti, who was observing him since he sat in dining table, held his wrist.... Still he didn't looked at her.... This surprised her, because since the time abir entered inside the home, he didn't spare a look at her....
M : baito....mujhe tujhse baat karni hai....
Abir gulped,
A : baadh me karenge mishti.... Mera sir me dard ho raha hai...mujhe sona hai...aur shaam tak mujhe mat utaana....

He stepped ahead, while mishti got up from her place,
M : kya hua hai bir?.
Abir stopped in his tracks, without making an effort to look at her,
A : kuch nahi hua hai mishti....tu apna dimaag mat chala ab....me rest karne jaa raha hu...

Mishti didn't speak anything further.... She thought, "kuch tho zarur hua hai....warna bir mujhse aise bina aankh me aankhe dhaalke bat kyu nahi karta.....lekin, kaise pata chalega mujhe?... Na me iske friends ko jaanti hu na unke address.... Hmm...phir, bir se hi kaise bhi karke ugalwaana hoga ki kaunsi matter use bother kar rahi hai".

Then, mishti decided to leave abir alone for sometime and she took her laptop and sat in the hall and got busy in her work.....

Five hours left and abir still didn't come out of the room.... Mishti got bored doing her work... As she finished her work, she thought, "bir ka mood light karne ke liye, kuch tho karna padega....hmm... Use beach side leke jaati hu....waise mujhe bhuk bhi laghi hai aur kuch bhi nahi banaaya maine ghar pe, tho bahar se hi kuchh khaake aayenge".

Thinking as above, she came inside their room.... And she sat next to sleeping abir and kept her hand on his shoulder,
M : bir.....
There was no response...
M : bir....
A : hmm....
M : chalo....kahi bahar chalte hai.....
A : mishti, please....aaj nahi....
M : ajeeb rajvansh, tu ne hi kaha tha na ki hum aaj bahar jaayenge, beach pe time spend karenge.... Ab aisa kya hua ki tu manaa kar raha hai?....sach sach batana bir....

Abir thought, "agar ab me iske saath nahi gaya tho isko pata chal jaayega ki me kisi problem me phasa hu.... Me wo nahi chahta...".
Next moment, he got up from the bed,
A : me das minute me aaya...
Saying this, he went inside the washroom.... Mishti smiled and opened her wardrobe to change.... When she picked a dress and was about to keep it on the bed, her eyes fell on the wet area on the bed, near abir's pillow...

Mishti touched that area and her eyes filled with tears and she became anxious, and thought, "bir, ro raha tha?....par kyu?....kya hua hai mere ajeeb rajvansh ko?....wo aisa kabhi nahi rotha ?....mujhe jaanna hai ki kya pareshaani hai...".
As the washroom door opened, she gulped and controlled her curiosity to know what had happened.... She thought, "sahi samay me poochungi me bir se hi".
Then, they both left for the beach side.....
