Venti stepped out of the Anemo dorms that early Tuesday morning, instrument in hand and ready to be played. It was 3 AM, and Venti took in the morning breeze before straightening himself and playing.

What came out wasn't the jarring noise of bagpipes, but the smooth melody of a special flute he crafted himself with his music teacher. The notes drifted through the air, carried by the wind to nearby dorms and lulling anybody awake to sleep again. Venti continued playing, even if the song pulls everyone back to their dreams.

There was actually one person who stayed up, though. He was in the lobby when Venti had left, and had remained in the lobby when Venti started playing his flute. By the middle of the tune, all his stress and worries had melted away.

It was refreshing, though.
