"Getting my name known" Midoriya replied as he stepped back from a wall.
Below him was a dead body.
Bakugo had watched him kill them

After killing the man, Midoriya ripped out his heart and let blood spill everywhere.
Using his finger, he spelled out his villain name on the wall.

"You're making that your villain name?
How corny" Bakugo sneered as he glanced at the wall.

"The Reaper" had been written in blood on the wall.
It was a befitting name for Midoriya.

"I don't think you could come up with anything better.
Now shut it."

Midoriya walked out of the alleyway, his hand was still quite bloody.
Suddenly he heard yelping coming from what sounded like an animal.

Confused, he turned back to the alleyway and found a cat.
She had long black and white fur with sapphire blue eyes.

"Is that a cat?" Bakugo asked.

"No it's a dog.
Use your eyes Kacchan." Midoriya replied sarcastically.
He squatted down beside the cat, she was wearing a collar.

"Sapphire
Dimension traveler"

"Odd.
She appeared out of no where..." Midoriya muttered.
Upon further scanning he realized the car had a broken leg.

"What're you going to do?"

Bakugo then proceeded to watch Midoriya lift up the cat with his bloody hand.
He called kurogiri with his good hand and warped back to the base.

"Why do you have a cat???" Kurogiri asked in dismay.
"I found her and she has a broken leg and I'm taking her in now.
Why?" Midoriya replied.

Kurogiri sighed, "okay.
Take care of it well."

Midoriya nodded his head as he walked to his room.
He washed his hands and then have the cat a gentle bath.
She didn't argue against it.

After he cleaned her up she dried her and put a cast around her leg with the materials he had.

"What're you going to do if she has to use the bathroom?
You don't exactly have a litter box or any of her supplies you know" Bakugo asked.

"Fair point.
Looks like we're breaking into a pet store"
Midoriya quickly left the base and flew to the nearest pet store.

He broke in, sounding the alarms.
He didn't care too much.

He grabbed a bunch of the things the cat would need:
Litter box
Litter
Food
Etc.

After he gathered up all of his things he tossed it into a bag and flew back to base before any police could come.

After that he set up everything for the cat, washed up, and went to sleep.

The next day-

"I think she can see me" Bakugo commented.
Sapphire was staring directly at Bakugo, right into his eyes.

"Eh she probably can.
Not my problem" Midoriya replied dully.
He laid there, staring at his ceiling.

Reality had finally snapped back into perspective for him...
His sadness was back.

"I really can't do anything but kill people...
It's the only thing that brings me any amounts of joy.

I actually killed all those people...

It was fun

But still...

There's no going back, not that I want to go back to how I was...
Life was agony and dread back then, at least now I can experience some joy.
