What's the Scoop? All We Know About the Relationship Between Singer Aubrey Cooper and Actor Alexander Calvert... and How Ex-Girlfriend Penelope Ackles Fits Into the Equation

Everyone knows famous singer/actress Aubrey Cooper (age 22) and her relationship with actor Alexander Calvert (age 27). Cooper and Calvert dated briefly back in 2014 before Cooper decided to break it off due to the couple having different goals for the future. Cooper wanted to focus more solely on her singing while Calvert was determined to pursue his acting career.

Calvert currently is starring in the role of Jack Kline on the CW's Supernatural. This is where he met Penelope Reese Ackles (age 18). Ackles, niece of the show's leading man Jensen Ackles who plays elder brother Dean Winchester, was immediately infatuated by Calvert as seen in a post on Twitter.

Later in that same post, Ackles and Calvert were given a ship name by the fans of Supernatural: #penalex. There appeared to be some minor drama towards the beginning of their relationship when Jared Padalecki, another co-star of Calvert's who plays younger brother Sam Winchester, posted about getting Ackles to sing at karaoke night.

Luckily, this didn't seem to deter the budding couple, as Calvert posted about being forgiven for some of the comments he had made on Padalecki's post and getting the chance to take Ackles on a second date. Everyone was especially excited when Ackles decided to get over her stage fright and sang original song "I Think I Kinda, You Know" at Van-Con in January.

So we became even more shocked when not even two days after the Supernatural Convention, Ackles posted a  video to a new original song, "jealousy, jealouy". Fans of the show and those who had been shipping #penalex immediately wanted to know what was going on between the young girl and her uncle's co-star.

Two weeks later, Cooper made a post, tagging Calvert:

Again, this was met with a lot of chatter amongst fans. We also noticed the protective side of Uncle Jensen come out, as he made several comments on this, past and subsequent posts about wanting to murder Calvert for breaking his niece's heart.

Most recently, however, all three members of this love triangle have released new songs in response to one another. It began with Calvert, who fans hadn't heard sing in quite some time since he has been focusing on acting, when he went live on Instagram with his original piece "Lie, Lie, Lie". Two weeks later, after Ackles' eighteenth birthday, she also went live on Instagram with her song "driver's license".

Finally, Cooper released the most recent original work in this dramatic chain of events by posting a lyric video of her song "Skin" with the caption: 

We haven't seen any further posts from any of the trio, but we are sure something is on its way. Will we get another original song from Ackles, who seems to have come out of her shell and gained confidence about singing for an audience?
