Catra was annoyed, she had been getting looks since she left Adora's room this morning. Not all were bad looks but Catra definitely internalized it. She didn't understand all the whispering.

If they wanted to say something they should say it to her face!

So she could punch them in their face.

"Fucking cowards." She said in a low mutter.

Catra didn't blame Adora for any of this. It was both of their decisions to do what they did at the hot tub, even if they hadn't done anything crazy until later. It wasn't like Adora knew Lonnie was going to be there. What could she have possibly done?

Adora and Catra had already talked about it, the outcome being fine.

Sure it was a little embarrassing, but Catra would be fine.

She smiled a little bit when she saw Adora carrying both her's, and Catra's luggage on the bus. The best part about having a strong (Fake?) Girlfriend was that Catra didn't have to do any heavy lifting.

"Just sit there and look pretty." Adora had instructed her, adding that Catra was a natural at doing so. The comment made Catra blush heavily. She liked being complimented. Especially by Adora.

[..]

"How do you think Lonnie even knew we were there in the first place?" Catra asked Adora as they sat down in the back of the bus. Adora chuckled, shrugging. "Don't know. But hey! Least we gave her a show."

Catra couldn't held but laugh at that. "Idiot."

"Your idiot."

Hers.

Was this even fake anymore?

Catra wasn't sure if she had cared anymore. She smiled. "Yeah. Mine."

The bus ride had been long, but much better for Adora now that she had Catra.

Catra stood up as the bus stopped at a rest stop. "I'll be right back." she told the blonde, running off the bathroom with her bag.

"So are you guys official?" Bow asked from a seat across.

"I want to be. But honestly, I don't know anymore and I'm too scared to ask the question." Adora admitted sadly. "And if she were ever to find out that I lied? Bow I can't imagine her feeling the same."

"Then maybe you need to tell the truth."

Once she finished her business, the Catra walked out of the bathroom stalls and to the sinks.

"Sup, Catra?"

Catra turned around to see Lonnie, sitting on one of the sinks. "Hi." Was all Catra said, not needing the drama.

"I was so sad to hear about the video. It was a total accident! I mean my finger just hit the send all button! Honest mistake, really." Lonnie said dramatically.

"Uh huh."

"For real, Catra. I'd never do that to Adora on purpose. I mean she's going to be my girlfriend and all."

Wait.

'Did Lonnie just imply she had already asked Adora to get back?' Catra inquired to herself, conflicted on her feelings.

"Funny how things turn out, hmm?" Lonnie taunted. "Have you ever asked yourself why Adora was in the hot tub in the first place?"

The rest of the bus ride had been silent. Both girls had questions, concerns, and a lot of anxiety.

"Are you okay?" Adora asked Catra, who had her eyes glued to the window as the bus entered the school. Catra stayed silent, she was obviously thinking about something. What? Adora didn't know.

When the bus came to a stop and all the kids had gotten their stuff. And this is when Catra got the courage to ask.

"You were waiting for her.... weren't you?"

Adora gasped a little. How did Catra know? And would lying make it worse?

Catra's voice was soft, but the hurt was obvious.

"Catra.."

"Answer the question." Catra requested, fidgeting with her stuff.

"Yes.." Adora admitted, looking down. Catra tried her best to smile but Adora could see her tears forming. As were hers.

"Okay." Catra breathed out, crying a little. Her voice was cracking as she rambled. "I mean that's okay. It's fine! That was the plan right? You and Lonnie get back and we go back to whatever we were?   Yeah. Um I think I'll start that now."

And before Adora could rebuttal, Catra had run off.
