George's POV

I slept a bit that night and woke up early the next morning to go downstairs and make myself some tea. Dream wasn't up yet and I chilled on the couch as long as it took Dream to come downstairs too. He had just taken a shower seen his hair and he yawned.

'Hi, good morning. Did you sleep well?'

I nodded slowly. 'I did. You?'

'It was fine,' Dream said with a smile. He sat down next to me on the couch. 'Do you want me to make some breakfast for you?'

I shrugged. 'I guess.'

'I'll make something small,' Dream said as he stood up. 'It's a sunny day today, do you want to go to the beach together? We don't have to swim, but just to chill.'

'Sounds fun,' I answered him. 'I haven't been to the beach in ages now.'

'What time do you want to go?'

'I'm not sure, we can just go early and come back whenever we want.'

'Okay, I might stream when we are back home. Do you want to be there too?'

'NO,' I immediately yelled, getting startled by myself. This made it even more obvious something was wrong. Dream smiled at me instead and nodded.

'That's fine, is it okay if I stream?'

I shrugged. 'That's your choice.' I noticed I sounded a bit mad, not having that intention at all. I was just scared for people to donate to him. Not that it mattered, I was almost sure that he knew I was gay already. He was just trying to hide it, something I highly appreciated.

Dream walked back to the living room, he gave me two crackers with cheese and ate some toast himself. I smiled at him and slowly ate my crackers as Dream looked at me.

'What?' I muttered.

'You look really tired. Are you okay after what happened yesterday?'

'I guess I am.'

Dream nodded and softly rubbed my hand after that. He looked at his toast and took a bite. 'I'm happy you're here.'

I smiled and got a bit flustered, causing me to hide my face a little bit.

'You're flustered,' Dream wheezed as he pushed my shoulder. 'Your cheeks are so pink.'

'Shut up and eat your toast, I'm not flustered. You're just dumb.'

'You're such an idiot,' Dream wheezed as he took another bite of his toast. 'I've never seen your cheeks this pink before.'

I rolled my eyes. 'You're so annoying.'

Dream grinned and finished his toast, standing up after. 'I'm going to get some stuff for the beach.'

I nodded and watched him walk off with a smile on my face. I curled up on the couch as I finished my first cracker and ten minutes later Dream came back with stuff. He smiled as he saw my empty plate. 'I'm proud of you.'

I smiled and stood up to get some stuff as well. After I packed a small bag with stuff, Dream and I sat down in the car to drive to the closest beach to Dream's house. Dream parked his car after a car ride where it was comfortably quiet and I stepped out, enjoying the sun shining on my face.

Dream smiled. 'You're not used to these temperatures, are you?'

I nodded and Dream laid down two towels on the sand, just to sit on it after that. He was wearing swimming trunks in case he was going to swim. Dream laid down and closed his eyes and he enjoyed the sun. Meanwhile, I couldn't seem to get my eyes off him and smiled as I watched him lay down like that.

After a while Dream opened his eyes again, catching me stare at him. He didn't comment on it and pulled off his shirt as he laid back again, closing his eyes. My eyes went big as I was suddenly sitting down next to my half naked best friend, his body was really attractive and my cheeks heated up as I saw it.

As soon as Dream opened his eyes again, he caught me staring and wheezed. 'You seem to like it.'

'N-no, shut up.'

Dream rolled his eyes and sat up. 'Sure, that's why you're staring so much. I know I'm hot, don't worry.'

'You're so confident about yourself, it's actually unbelievable.'

'I'm not that confident, I mostly act confident to be annoying.'

I grinned. 'Sure.'

'But I'm definitely more confident than you are. Do you have the courage to go swim?'

'I'm not beautiful at all and definitely not trained like you.'

Dream shrugged. 'That's bullshit, you look good.'

'I don't think that will change my opinion. I just don't really like how I look, it's fine.'

'George, you're handsome as hell and attractive as well. If there's one-,' Dream started, but then his face heated up. He looked down at his hands and I giggled.

'Thanks,' I muttered as my face heated up as well.

'I- that might have sounded weird, but I mean- you're not ugly.'

'You haven't seen me.'

'Do you dare to go swimming with me?'

I nodded slowly and pulled off my shirt awkwardly. I hid my body a little and Dream smiled. 'You're beautiful,' he said with a smile, standing up to walk off after.

I knew he walked off because he was trying to hide his red face and I stood up, walking to him quickly. I grabbed his hand and Dream smiled.

'I'm excited to go swimming with you,' Dream said happily. 'Don't worry about your looks, because I promise that you aren't ugly and definitely not fat if you think that.'

'I don't necessarily think that I'm fat, but I'm just very ugly. I can control the fact that I'm starving when I can't control anything else in my life.'

Dream nodded slowly and stood still, looking at me. 'I know life may be hard at the moment, George, but please remember that I'm always here for you,' he said as he gave me a tight hug.

I blushed and smiled as I felt really loved for the first time in years again.
