~ dinner time ~
"ED!" called the Lorax.
"Don't call me Ed I'm the Once-ler. Not that you care" replied the Once-ler.
"Yeah, yeah do you think of the Once-ler as your hero name or something I used to always call you Ed!"
"Well Ed is reserved for people i like"
The Lorax huffed "what ever."
They walked down stairs to the cafeteria in deafening silence. Once they got down stairs they saw that there was only one table left which meant they had to sit together. The Once-ler and Lorax both groaned and collected their food. They sat together eating in silence until the Lorax said
"I'm sorry Ed cheating on you it was a huge mistake and I regret it everyday I know this apology won't fix everything but I hope you'll someday find it in your heart to forgive me."
"You're right this apology wont fix everything" the Once-ler continued playing with his food and then said "as long as you admit you were wrong someday I might forgive ... not today though" he quickly added.
"Thank you ... Once-ler" he smiled and continued to eat his food.
