stomach bug

Request: Could you please do one where Stefan gets a bad stomach bug while the whole gang (Elena ,Damon ,Caroline ,Bonnie ,matt) are out and Damon takes him home and takes care of him?

Note : this is set in s2 when liz and her officials shot stefan and he had to drink a lot of blood to regain his strength. Let's also assume zack was still alive at that time

Damon's pov:
Yesterday stefan and I were shot by sheriff liz forbes. More like he was shot and i had to watch him get shot. He was on animal blood, unconscious after the first shot. I remember being scared for his life as they interrogated me while loading him with wooden bullets. He looked pale- too pale, which is something given that he is really pale to begin with. When Caroline came and saved us he was barely breathing and had to consume a lot of animal blood to survive, more than he used to, normally. We grabbed animals in the forest and brought them to him. He had still not got all of his strength back. Today was a new day. All of us decided to go out and chill for a change, after the gory and life endangering day we had spent yesterday. We were out at the grill when I glanced at stefan just to see him getting up and moving away from us and gripping on the table with sweat all over his forehead.. He still looked a bit pale, probably because of yesterday.. But then I saw him groaning and wrapping his hands around his stomach, I knew Something was wrong.

Stefan's pov:
I woke up this morning with my head pounding. I felt dizzy and light headed. Being shot yesterday had took a lot of my strength .. Even after drinking a lot of blood I felt weak . We were going out today so I stood up and felt myself staggering. I felt nauseous and my abdomen was aching like hell. I slowly climbed down the stairs and it takes me longer than I expected it would. We decided to go to the grill and even though I did not feel like it.. I agreed. We did need a day off from all that drama. But I don't think that is possible when we are, well, us . We reached the grill and the pain in my head intensified ,so did the pain in my stomach. I felt close to passing out. I felt hot. Damon, Caroline, bonnie, elena and matt were all talking and including me in conversations but I wasn't thinking straight and was hardly listening to them. I stood up and staggered my way to the table nearby. I felt this blinding pain in my stomach and bit my lip to stop myself from screaming out it pain, but a groan escaped my mouth. "Stefan?! " I heard Damon's worried voice and saw him come up to me. He grabbed my shoulder gently and turned me to him. I was hardly keeping my eyes open because the pain was too much to take. He touched my forehead and his hand was cool against my skin. "D- damon.." "You don't look good-" "Stefan are you okay?!" Elena and Caroline said, worriedly. " He's burning up" Damon said and as my knees felt weak he offered himself for support, as something for me to lean on. "I- I'm gonna-" I felt bile form in my throat as matt rushed to hand me a bin and I puked in it. The atmosphere grew way more serious when I started vomiting blood. My throat felt scratchy and I felt close to passing out. Damon quickly wiped my face and took me in his embrace as I started to clutch my stomach due to the immense pain . "It h- hurts.. It hurts s-so much.. Make it stop.. Please just-" I felt exhausted and kept biting my lips and squeezing my eyes to stop myself from screaming. I felt my eyes fill with tears threatening to come out. "Hey.. It's okay.. Calm down.. What hurts? " Damon asked, rubbing my back soothingly. "S-stomach.. Please.. M- make it stop- " I had barely whispered before I felt it all going dark.

Damon's pov:
"Stefan?!! Stefan wake up?! " He passed out in my arms. He definitely has a fever- which is weird because vampires aren't supposed to get sick! and is complaining about stomach aches.. He puked blood and now - he fainted. There's something really wrong. I saw tears in his eyes as he begged for me to cease his pain , I wish I could but I didn't now how to. He was talking like he felt delirious, exhausted and weak, which he was by the looks of it . I was getting really worried now. I picked him up and carried him to our car. "Hey I'll come too- " Caroline said, clearly worried for her best friend who saved her life, also she felt really guilty about her mother torturing us yesterday .I also kinda felt like she had a thing for him. "I'm coming too" Elena worriedly chimed in " No.. It's okay .. I'll take care of it " I put him in the front seat as he didn't make a move, still unconscious.. His temperature had gone up.. Then it occurred to me. Yesterday we took all those animals and made him drink their blood.. There was bad blood which messed up with his body.. This looked like a case of stomach bug. Just as we were about to reach home he started stirring and whimpering in pain. I helped him out and practically carried him to his room. He started screaming and crying because of all the pain. " I- AAAGH- I CAN'T- PLEASE- STOP I- " He was getting tired as he spoke and screamed and I realised that to his weak animal-blood-drinking body, bad blood was more affective than to normal vampires. He was barely holding on. I had to get medics and I grabbed a blood bag in the meantime. "N-no.. It's h- human.. " He groaned as I brought it close to him. " Stefan.. Please have some.. It's the only way- I'm gonna help you control yourself.. Don't worry. " I also took out some medicines from Zack's room and gave them to him.. They weren't working as fast as they should've so he finally agreed to have some blood. "You're okay, brother..shh..calm down.. You're going to be okay..I'll help you..nothing is gonna happen..shh.. Hey..calm down.. sleep now " I soothingly ran my fingers through his hair as he sobbed into my chest, afraid of becoming the ripper. By the end of the night he felt well and had fallen asleep with his head on my lap.
