"He said that we have an opportunity" Nikhil stammered looking at Swara's back.

Swara turned to look at Nikhil. Her eyes filled with tears instantly.

'Is he the same person with whom I fell in love with?' thought weaken her knees. She kept on looking at his face blankly not believing on the words hit her eardrum.

They both shared painful eye lock.

"Please Swara. Don't look at me like this." Nikhil bowed his head, breaking their eye lock.

"I love you Nikhil" Swara mumbled defeatedly. Tears started streaming on her cheeks.

"I love you so much Swara. And what do you think this is easy for me. This is killing me too." Nikhil took a step towards her.

"Do you even understand what you are asking?" words were out even before Swara could realise.

"I know... I know... Swara I had tried every other option, but nothing is working on." He held her palm in his.

"That means this is not in our destiny. There must be something brighter stored for us here." Nikhil was aware about her optimistic nature. Swara was a person who would find positives even in worst situation.

"Swara please atleast listen to me once. Please once" Nikhil pleaded.

"Leave me alone." Swara turned to go back. She could not believe the harsh words form the person she was in love with from last couple of years.

"Swara please listen to me. This is for us. Our bright future. Our dreams. Just one year... You will get residency as per the contract and then you can sponsor me once the contract is over. We will get married. We will be together. We will work hard for our bright future." Nikhil pulled her holding her shoulders.

"It's your dream Nikhil not mine" Swara responded tiredly.

"But you are mine" he cried.

He stared at her pale face and continued, "Just think practically once, you would be earning in dollars. Soon I will join you there. It would make our life easy to pay off the loan."

"But we will be spending in dollars as well. Nikhil, grass is always greener on other side. You are looking at the Rosey picture where reality would be exactly different." She once again tried to convince.

"Yes, I know. But think about our families. You can fully support Uncle and Aunty. How many day's aunty would struggle? Uncle... he is getting old. Rohan is still studying. They only have us to support them. My family is also there. My sister ... her education... her marriage. We have so many responsibilities on our head. In this how we will live our life with minimal income? When we will start our family? When we will enjoy our life? Or do you want to spend our entire life just doing 12 hours of job?" Nikhil gave her reality check.

"Till today we were able to manage our life" Swara contradicted.

"Exactly MANAGE not ENJOY" Nikhil reason out, "Today we are having some support from our parents but tomorrow we only need to look after them."

"Still Nikhil... this is wrong. There are so many people who find their ways from all miseries. We will also find our way. We will have all family support." Swara shook her head crying bitterly.

"It's not that easy Swara. At the end happiness is valued in terms of money. Just think we would have more than enough income for us and to support family. One dollar is equivalent to 50-55 rupees. How much more we will be able to earn and save? We don't need to become dependent on any one" Nikhil shook his head in denial.

"Instead, why don't you look for any job here in any reputed company. You must agree Nikhil, this freelancing is not working for us. I have broken my FD for paying some dues but still we owe 3 lacs to Bank. I am sure you will get any good job and you have already applied for residency whenever we will get a chance, we will grab it. Why are you in so much hurry. Let's wait for our time. It will come. Just have some patience." Swara made failed attempts.
