This was by far the best date I’ve ever had. Dan planned out the entire evening. We went to my favorite restaurant and had a really nice dinner, then got some frozen yogurt and after that we were going for a walk through Hide Park. It was so romantic. We held hands and there was this silence between us. Not this awkward kind of silence but sometimes there is just no need to say anything. It felt so good.
After a while Dan stopped and I almost fell over my feet.
“What the hell, Dan? What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“Then why do you stop?”, I asked him being a bit confused.
“I want to do something. I wanted to do that for a long time now, but I don’t really know how to say it.” Dan was blushing. Did he mean that one thing that I think he means? Then yes please, do it!
“Stop thinking too much, Dan. Just do it!”
He leaned down to me, pulled my chin up a bit and placed his lips on mine. It was a short kiss. Sweet and gentle. The perfect first kiss!
