<< And here, please! >> said the woman and pointed to another vacancy on a document that Hizashi and Aizawa had signed.

<< Well then. . . Congratulations on adopting Izuku Aizawa. >>

The woman smiled and shakes hands with the new parents. The two happily got into the car with their new son Izuku that was parked in the parking lot of the orphanage.

Aizawa's expression still looked pretty annoyed because it took them hours to fill out unimportant documents from his point of view. He and Hizashi were 2 great heroes and yet they didn't get custody that easily, which is good, because just because you're a hero doesn't mean you don't treat a child well, does it?

The drive wasn't very long, but the atmosphere in the car almost stifled Hizashi, so he turned on the radio. Nothing really exciting happened.

Just a few boring messages, so he turned on some soft music. Aizawa could actually be happy that Hizashi didn't turn the music up to full volume like usual.

Apparently he was considerate of Izuku, who looked uncomfortably out of the window.

After a few long minutes of driving, Aizawa stopped the black car at a small house in a nice and quiet area.

The little family got out of the car together and Aizawa got Izuku's few things out of the trunk. Izuku hesitated a few seconds, but then stepped into the house in which he was to live in the future.

In the hallway he stopped and looked around first while Aizawa and Hizashi took off their jackets and shoes, which is why Izuku did the same. He hasn't been in a real tidy house for a long time . . . and it was also very nice and . . clean.

<< Come with, Izuku. >>

Hizashi gave him a happy smile and went towards the living room. Aizawa and Hizashi showed him the whole house. It was Aizawa who opened the last unknown door of the house that they had specially prepared for Izuku.

The room was a decent size, with a bed, wardrobe, large desk, and a small bedside table next to the bed. Izuku looked around in surprise. He's never had anything like it.

'There's even a bed . . and sheets.' he remarked.

Hizashi turned on the lamp in the ceiling with a switch next to the door, which made Izuku almost winced, but he suppressed it.

<< This is your new room, problem child. >> Aizawa explained to him why Izuku's eyes widened a little.

<< What? >> he asked softly and uncertainly.

<< This is your room! We hope you like it. >>

<< Hm. . . this is too big. >> he mumbled and looked at the floor, which suddenly looked quite interesting. Aizawa put a hand on his shoulder, which made Izuku winced this time and looked up at him.

<< It's not a problem. It's yours, all of you alone. >>

A small twitch on Izuku's lip could be seen what looked like something or he tried to smile. Aizawa put the bag with Izuku's things on the bed.

<< Please unpack, Izuku. We'll keep making food. We'll call you when we're done. >> Hizashi told him and stepped out of the room to give Izuku a little alone time.

<< See you soon, problem child. >> Aizawa said goodbye and closed the door.

Izuku turned away from the door and walked slowly to the bed. Carefully he lay down on the freshly made bed. To him it felt like he was lying on clouds.

Before, when he was with his mother, he hardly slept and when on the floor with a thin and broken blanket. Tired, he closed his eyes and after a short time fell asleep like a little baby.

---

<< Izuku, get up! >> Izuku startled when he felt someone shake his shoulder. It wasn't his Mother. The voice was soft and not angry, but it also weren't Mrs _____ .

<< Oh! Excuse me! I did not mean to scare you. >> Hizashi apologized with a slight smile.

<< I fell asleep . . >> Izuku noticed and looked at the place where the bed was lying cuddled up before.

<< It's okay, I already understand. Come down, food is ready. >> Hizashi smiled and got up from his crouch. Izuku nodded a little and got up from the bed with a jerk.

Together with Hizashi he ran down the stairs into the dining room where Aizawa had already set the table and was just sitting down.

<< Please sit down. There. >> Aizawa asked him and pointed to an empty chair across from him.

Izuku nodded again and sat down on the chair pointed to. Hizashi also sat down and put his hands together, as did Aizawa and, after a few seconds, Izuku too.

<< Bon appetit! >> They wished each other and started to eat. Izuku took a small bite from the fork and was amazed. He didn't get a lot of food from his mother, which is why he always had to steal from shops and kiosks or look for something off the floor.

<< T-thank you . . . >> he mumbled softly, but still understandable.

<< Nothing to thank. >>

<< You are part of the family now! >>
