Alexander's pov

Today is the day.... today is the day I can do this I promise I can!

I sigh as I put my clothes on and slip the ring case into my pocket

"You ready to go Sweetheart?" John nods and I grab his hand and we walk out the house

"Where are we going?" He yawns while talking and I smile

"Listen it is a surprise for a reason" I smile as he giggles and I watch as his skirt lifts up a bit as I twirl him around

"Just know I want a coffee it is 5:00 am" he mumbled as we go out the door

"Okay I will get you a coffee" I smile and his freckled face glows as the sun rises up

I lead him into a breakfast restaurant and sit him down

"Okay open your eyes" he opens them and smiles a bit

"Awhhh Alexander what is all of this for?" His adorable eyes light up

"I just wanted to give you a special day!" I grab his hands and he smiles a bit

He grabs the menu and looks at it

"Ooo they do have coffee!" He giggles as he sees the coffee

"Do you like waffles John?" I ask him and he shakes his head

"Yes but no" he mumbled as the waiter walked up to us

"Hello! What can I get you guys today?"

"Can I get a black coffee and a blueberry pancake please!" He smiles and then the waitress looks at me

"And you?"

"Can I get an ice coffee only please!" The waitress nods

"Ice coffee?! I thought you didn't like coffee?"

"I wanted to try it" I smile and he laughs

"Okay!"

After their breakfast and Lauren's pov

"Oh hey Peggy!" I wave at her and she waves back

"Hey John and Alexander!" She hugs me and I look at her stomach again

"So what's the gender?"

"A girl!" She rubs her stomach and I smile

"Awhhh!" She smiles and I hug her again

"Where are you two off to?"

"Hm good question Lex here won't tell me anything." He smiles and I laugh a bit

"Well I have to go now see you guys later!" She walks off and Alex leads me somewhere again

"Okay Lexie where are we going now?" I mumble as he picks me up

"Again It is a surprise!" He smiles and I groan

"Do you know how to skate?"
