I tried editing it a bit:
Hattie Dejes' life hasn't been the same since her college graduation after her twin sister, Hettie, was found dead by the railroad near the Narrow. After 10 years of being forced to live in the US, it seemed as though Hattie may finally find the courage to look into the real reason behind her sister's death.
Detective Lucas Matthias has been tracking his father's whereabouts for five years after he disappeared 10 years ago without an explanation. [note: give more details about him here. binigyan mo siya ng POV, might as well give him a tiny spotlight sa blurb]
Together, bound by a sole purpose, Hattie and Lucas will embark on a pursuit for answers that may lead them to more questions about the family they thought they knew. The last part is in a parenthesis 'cause I didn't know how to edit that. I'm not really aware of how things are going to happen/end... kaya hindi ko ma-edit yung last part. Also, I just edited that using your own blurb as a reference, you might still want to add a few things to that.
