the emotions overflowed him like
a giant wave in the ocean, swallowing
everything in its sight up whole, leaving
nothing but the dust of what once was
behind and the poor, foolish boy left
gasping for air wondering where it all went
it wasn't all in an instant. it was over
time. small wave, after small wave. the
crashes grew bigger and his heart colder.
the smile that once was washed away with
the ocean forever lost at sea.
so, with all lost and his breath fading he
decided to let go and simply float in the sea.
to stop fighting the waves and instead let
them carry him away...
