This is the first letter I'm writing to you after you went on your vacation. How many more days for you to return? I'm already counting them. Abdi keeps saying he doesn't know when you're going to come back but I know that he's hiding something from me. I miss you very much with every passing day.
And Abdi does too. I saw water in his eyes the other daywhen I asked him about you.
My school's already started after the winter break and I don't have anyone to cook my favourite pancakes. Although Abdi did try to make them for me, I still miss the ones you always made.
