Yoomi was incredibly pleased with herself. Not only had she managed to get the first chance to perform and the automatic advantage to doing so (they didn't have anything to compare her with), she had outdone herself and performed incredibly well.

She wouldn't even give them a chance to doubt that their original vote was wrong. Her performance of Gashina had been amazing - even if she did risk sounding so incredibly big-headed by pointing that out. But it was obvious enough, and she needed to carry that confidence into the rest of the competition with her, or else she might face some trouble.

First impressions were everything to some, but for Yoomi, that only mattered partially. To some of the twenty three boys watching her, it was the very first time that their paths had crossed, but for others, they knew her already.

Meaning that some knew her as the girl in their evaluations who had surpassed the need to take place in the female one and instead joined the boys, who barely talked to anyone unless she really had to, almost always kept to herself and could very easily hold her own if necessary. Those were the people she had been worried about winning over, but they had pushed their own personal preferences aside and judged on talent as opposed to their own impression of her.

And so, Yoomi silently agreed to do the exact same, opting not to vote because she didn't like them, but because of their talent. She owed them that professional courtesy, seeing as they had granted it ot her as well.

Following her went Seon, who she didn't know at all but recognised from appearing on Produce 101, then Sunghoon and Jay, two who she was very familiar with. Her and Jay didn't get along, and Sunghoon was an old friend who she no longer spoke with, but instead ignored completely.

The pair did very well, and she wasn't afraid to admit it, voting for the both of them with her back completely straight and her arm pointing upwards. Then came a trio made up of Nicholas, Niki and Hanbin came, and Heeseung followed them, also doing unbelievably well.

None were as good as her, of course, but if she was going to be living with them for next however long - she didn't know exactly when the producers of the show needed her to get herself eliminated, or if she even would at all, seeing as the amount she was being paid for each episode increased every time she survived a voting - Yoomi had to be polite and able to compliment others where they went wrong.

Following Heeseung went the oldest of them all, a Japanese trainee named K, whose dancing skills were insane. Daniel and EJ had performed Any Song, then Sungchul, Jimin and Jaebeom had performed Shoot Out. Geonu, Kyungmin and Jaeho had performed Chained Up, and Taki had performed Monster. Yoonwon, Taeyong and Jungwon performed All I Wanna Do.

Finally, came a unit of three, Sunoo, Youngbin and Jake. All of them were on the younger side and didn't have as much experience as trainees as the rest of them. But Yoomi was taken by surprise at their performance of Crown - all things considered, they were actually really good.

Meanwhile, the counter on the side of the building had decreased from thirteen down to '0' as each vote passed. Not everyone from each unit passed through, but as it came to voting for the final three, it had already surpassed it. A few had been voted in following an appeal made with one of their special talents, but none of the final three faced that. They were all voted in, and the counter on the wall reached a resolute '-3'.

What's going to happen now?" Various people mumbled the question to each other, staring at the number that represented the capacity of the show. They had gone over it - what would they have to face because of that?

"The entrance exam for I-Land is over. Those who have passed may enter the gate and proceed to I-Land." The voice told them, the wall once again opening up.

And as Yoomi stood up, slinging her bag strap over her shoulder, she relaxed just a little. But she knew it wouldn't be long. They had gone over the capacity by three people, which meant that four people would have to leave eventually. It was just a matter of when.

And a matter of who.
