My chest burned and every breath took more effort. Not that I wasn't used to it, I'd managed to run for quite a while now before reaching this stage. The problem was the tiny child in my arms, clinging to me for dear life,

"It's ok" I whispered, "I've got you. Just loosen your grip a little so I can breathe" The child lifted his head from where he'd buried it in my chest. I smiled, "Look around. See? We're out of there" I looked around us now before finding the shack again, "There" I took another breath and slipped in silently. My mother sat with the rest, "That's the last of them" I sighed. My mother took the child off me and I collapsed onto the ground, "Do you think Bobby will be ok?"

"Bobby's been fighting this war for years" My mum said, "He'll be fine" I nodded, redrawing the angel warding from the last time we'd used this shack,

"It's the third attack in three weeks. It seems like all we're doing is reacting"

"We're gonna keep reacting" My mum gave me a sharp look, "They can fight and we'll do our part"

"Our part is too small. He took us in, the least we can do is help"

"Grace" I realised the children were watching us, "Get some rest. We'll discuss this later" I sighed but I was tired so I did what I was told. For once. I fell asleep.

Castiel turned the light on in the library. He was alone, Sam and Dean had both gone to bed. His face said it all, he was lonely, missing his family. He sat down on a chair at the table and went still, staring off into space. After a couple minutes of inactivity, he sat up a little straighter and closed his eyes. He was almost bowing his head. A few more moments passed by when he muttered the name,

"Grace" Turning to look behind him. There was nothing there but air. He continued to talk, "Are you safe?" There was no response.

"Cas?" He looked up at the door now to see Dean, "You talking to air?" Cas turned back in his chair,

"I was trying to see where Grace is" He said, "She must be asleep now because all I see is this room"

"Are you sure the spell works if she's in another world?"

"It worked when I was in the empty" He looked around the room, "She's here" Dean came in and sat down at a seat across from Cas and looked about the room,

"Hey Grace" He said to the air. No response, "It's like talking to a ghost" Cas looked down at his hand while it twitched without him telling it to. Dean saw that and put a piece of paper under him and gave him a pen, "She can do that?" He looked at Cas who watched his hand. The writing was shaky at most but it was English. Once the word was written, the hand went on to start drawing. Dean sighed when he saw 'woo' and Cas' hand was currently drawing a cartoon ghost, "Well at least we know it's her" Castiel smiled, "Are you ok?" Cas drew a tick,

"Are you with your mother?" Cas asked. Cas ticked again, "What about Michael?" Cas' writing was still shaky so they realised it wasn't just an effect she'd put on, looks like writing was difficult for her,

'Plans failed' Was all she wrote,

"Plans failed?" Dean asked, looking to Cas, "What was he trying to do?"

"Probably trying to open a rift. With Lucifer back here, Grace may have been their only hope"

I was shook awake by Bobby,

"Your mother's gonna probably kill me for this but your the best runner we got" I stood up,

"What do you need?" I was ready to help. I wanted to help. Bobby gave a nod,

"I need you to deliver this message"

My roles diversified from there. I went from evacuator to messenger to scout. I guess, as well as my stamina, I had a pretty big scream. If something wasn't right and I was attacked, I would scream. It was like an alarm. I'm that prairie dog that alerts the rest about an eagle. I'm fine of course. I can fly. My wing healed up a while ago so I was back to complete mobility. I work with the same group of hunters led by Jakob and send messages to another group lead by Charlie. I just came back from scouting a building and was reporting my findings,
