26: Shipwreck

I tap my foot impatiently
Heart quickening upon a whim,
My brain working ardently
Everything is not as it seem

Sounds and colours, and feelings too
All flashing at various degrees
All of it real, it must be true
Like the humming―sigh of apple trees

Crooning the chorus of a relaxed hit
Eyes closed and reminiscing,
Savoring each melody bit by bit
Face caressed by breeze that is blowing

Tension and peace coexist
One could not be without the other,
The urge I cannot resist
Sometimes it's just a bother

My forehead is aching
My heart is in my neck
There is great pain in moving,
Everything is a shipwreck.
