It was the day of the Autumn Elections, all the contestants headed to the arena where the tournament would take place.

Soma: (This place is huge. Are we really going to cook here?)

Megumi: Soma-kun!

Soma: Tadokoro! How was the rest of your summer?

Megumi: It was good. I think I trained for this in my own way-

Megumi is suddenly hugged by Yuki.

Yuki: Megumi! Long time no see!

Ryoko: You look well.

Yuki: You, too, Yukihira! How're you doing?

Soma: Well, so-so, I guess.

Soma looked to see Ikumi.

Soma: Oh, Nikumi!

Ikumi: H-Hey.

Soma: Were in the same group. Let's get through this together.

Ikumi: To... Together!?

Ikumi was blushing madly.

Ikumi: Y-You idiot, we're enemies!

Ikumi quickly dashes away.

Ikumi: I'm not going to lose to you this time!

Soma: S-Sure.

Alice and Ryo walk in.

Alice: I'm disappointed I'm not in the same group as you.

Soma: Oh.

Alice: But Ryo-kun is. Ryo-kun, introduce yourself.

Ryo: 'Sup.

Soma: 'S-Sup.

Yusuke walks in.

Yusuke: Don't worry. You'll get to face me instead.

Alice: That's right. Can't wait for that. Don't let me down, okay?

Yusuke: ...

Akira appeared next to Soma.

Akira: There's a lingering trace of spices on your fingers.

Soma: Hayama!

Akira: I guess you've been giving this your best shot.

Soma: Yup! I want to let you taste really great curry!

Akira: Heh.

Yusuke: It's a shame we're in different groups, I really wanted to see your curry.

Soma: Same here. But don't worry, you'll get to see more of my cooking at the main tournament.

Yusuke: That better be the case. It would be really embarrassing if you didn't make it in after all that talk.

Takumi: Yukihira, Kudo!

Soma: Oh, Takumi. Been a while.

Takumi: I... I'll say this to you now! You're true rival is right here-

Yusuke: Hey, who's this?
