Kill to Heal

Chapter 2

Karma notices her breathing is starting to get ragged and her vision blurry from the blood loss. So she rips a part of her shirt and uses it to cover her bloody wound.

The golden bow and arrows from before fade away in a dim light.

"Faith Manifestation: Claymore of Faith"

Karma reaches and grabs the Claymore that materialized from the air.

Scarlet says with a mocking tone

"Are you sure you should continue fighting?"

I need to get her to tell me if she knows anything about my fathers whereabouts. But she seems like the type of person who cannot be physically forced to do anything. So what do I do?

"Do you wanna make a deal with me?" Karma says with a smirk

"Why would i wanna make a deal with you?"

"If I win this fight you'll answer one of my questions. But if you win I'll tell you the location of another person like me who's a member of a holy family."

"How can I trust you?"

"That should be my question. You're the one who serves Satan the king of lies. Either way it's a good opportunity for both of us right?"

"For the first time I hope you followers of God really are as honest as ya say because I'm gonna win."

Scarlet pulls out a bullet from her pocket that looks like red reptile skin and has a small dead looking tail wrapped around it.

"Like you said earlier this bullet was given to me by the beast,but you have yet to see what it can really do."

She then mutters to the bullet, "I Sacrifice my left arm so please attack my enemy with your true form."

The moment Scarlet finishes that sentence a red gas is released from the tail wrapped around the bullet.This red gas engulfs the bullet,making it hardly visible anymore. The gas then vanished as quickly as it appeared, but what was once a bullet emerged from it as a floating head of a fierce dragon. With one chomp, it eats Scarlet's entire left arm leaving her to bite her lip in pain.

Scarlet thinks to herself I will heal my arm later first though...

"I will capture you," she says and points at Karma.

The dragon head understands Scarlet's command and flies towards Karma with its giant mouth open to eat her. Karma smirks and lunges at it with her claymore in hand, itching to strike. With one stroke, she slashes it in half, it's blood splattering all over her face. She then continues on her path, running towards Scarlet, ready to attack with her blade once again. Despite the situation though, Scarlet appears unfazed.

"You're finished."

The dragon head that had just been sliced regenerated back to normal, and with one quick bite, it ate Karma whole.

Karma wakes up inside a throne room, the wounds that Karma received from the recent battle seemingly disappeared. In front of her a King-Ranked Beast follower was sitting on a throne.
