How hard can a person move you by their words?

Either consciously or not, good or bad, ahead or behind us, we receive judgment everyday. The world is full of multiple dead words but can come alive when they are said. I remember Albus Dumbledore saying, that words are our inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it. They also come with decisions made whether they're given a hard thought or not.

"What do you think is he going to say?" Kinakabahang bulong ng isa.

Ito ang kinatatakutan ng maraming mga tao. Ang masabihan, ang mahusgahan. Treatments, jokes, advices, and promises are words that are kept to bring a smile to a person. But no matter how innocent those words are, they can also end up being the reason of someone's tears.

"Master Victor is really hard to read. I'm getting nervous already." Clara creeped out while looking at Master Victor's blank impassive face.

Hindi ako nakasagot dahil maging ako ay kinakabahan din. Patuloy ang pagtagaktak ng pawis ko matapos ang pagsasayaw. We're all sitting at the floor while he's straight-faced walking back-and-forth in front of us, giving us suspense and keeping the tension growing. We are all waiting for this one thing.

The judgement.

"After watching all of your individual performances," Sa wakas ay nagsalita na rin siya. Umupo siya sa ka-isa-isang upuan sa kuwartong ito. We just sat there, silenced and quiet. "I congratulate you for not disappointing me."

Bumaksag ang balikat ko dahil sa wakas ay nakahinga rin ako ng maluwag. Narinig ko ang mahinang pagtili ng mga katabi ko ngunit agad ding nanahimik nang magsalita siya muli.

"But there's one student who I think got left behind." He said while roaming his eyes and laying them upon each student in this class except for me. Nagsimula na akong pumikit at magdasal.

Our Father, Who art in in heaven...

"Natalia." He called a name.

Hallowed be Thy name...

"You need more practice. J'attends mieux de ta part la prochaine fois."
