QUATORZE. the 1000-year-old groupie

Oddly enough, these past few days have been somewhat peaceful for Cassia and the remaining Mikaelson's in Mystic Falls. Well...if you don't count the lingering threat of dying along with the rest of the originals if one out of the five died, of course. But, when not counting that factor, it had been pretty peaceful.

The Sterling spent the few days shooting arrows reminiscing on how she had always done as a child all those centuries ago. The girl had also even got the time to finally talk and rant to Rebekah about everything and anything.

Not to mention, once Kol bought a phone after he left, the two had been texting more than they liked to admit. The younger Mikaelson missing his friend as he barely got any time with her before he had left. Of course, he made sure to let it be known in the form of the many frustrated paragraphs he sent her. Some of which just consisted of him sending concerningly detailed plans about getting rid of his older brother as he claimed the hybrid had hogged her ever since he was undaggered. The planning was then followed by his equally annoying frustration, expressing how he has spent more time texting her than actually spend time with her and what a surprise!

He blamed his hybrid half-brother.

Nonetheless, the Sterling enjoyed his texts, even if he just ranted to her about his annoying family and the hogging hybrid. She was just content that she finally got to somewhat catch up with him even if it was through text.

Of course, like anything else, this tranquillity had to end at some point. So it wasn't much of a surprise when Klaus came vamp speeding straight towards her in the middle of her launching an arrow causing for very interesting target practice.

The launched arrow was surging through the air in the route to a tree a few feet in front of it when the Mikaelson decided to rush right into the line of fire. The arrow planting itself into his right shoulder.

At least it should have.

Fortunately for him, he had caught the arrow less than an inch from piercing his flesh. The Sterling wincing at the proximity the arrow had with his shoulder, guilt sparking in her, "bloody hell. Sorry, Nik."

"Tired of me already, love?" Her guilt immediately fades at his snarky remark as she rolls her eyes at him. "Why did you run into my arrow then?" She retorts however also genuinely wanting to know why he was rushing to get to her.

"We've found Finn."

At the sound of his name, she perks up, stating, "well, what are we still doing here then?"

"Hello, Niklaus. I have nothing to say to you," the oldest original states, not even turning his head to look at his younger brother. Taking this as a signal to interrupt, Cassia appears on the other side of him, making it harder for Finn to leave.

"And me? Do you have anything to say to me?"

Not replying to neither of the originals beside him, Finn continues to walk forward, yet he does turn his head to look at the Sterling. A look in his eyes, as if hesitant. Though neither of them catches it as it leaves as quick as it came once he turns his head back forward.

Cassia lets Klaus talk to Finn, choosing to only get involved when it seemed like the situation went south or when she suggested that he should just come willingly as it would be best for everyone, including himself. Of course, the original too stubborn and deep into his mother's anti-vampire influence to be swayed, even if it was the sweet Sterling girl trying to persuade him.

The second time Cassia got involved was to, unsurprisingly, slap Klaus over the head after making a smug remark regarding his sister. Yet, Finn took this as a chance to walk away and took it. Though, Cassia being Cassia, was about to go after him right before quickly remembering that Rebekah would be greeting him once he entered the alleyway.

"Do you think he'll do it willingly once he finds out who's waiting for him?"

The girl turning to the boy beside her, looking up at him, waiting for his answer. He shrugs before insists, "we will be unlinked, even if he does not come willingly." Cassia frowns at his cynical answer. Though the frown doesn't remain for long as Klaus adds, "but, I do believe our visitor will make it easier for my older brother to choose the right decision." The Sterling hums at his inference, more satisfied than before.

Extending an open hand towards her, Klaus declares, "let's go, the sooner we are all unlinked, the sooner I can take you out without worrying about sudden indirect death by sibling." The girl's lips curling upwards into an amused grin as she takes his hand and intertwines them together as they walk toward the alleyway.

"What do you know, true love prevails."

Watching the oldest Mikaelson reunite with his long-lost love, Cassia couldn't help but smile at their interaction, glad that Finn found his happiness, more so a 900-year-old vampire who went by Sage, once again. It was all the Sterling hybrid wished for the Mikaelson siblings, happiness and tranquillity.

Of course, her smile is soon overtaken by a deadpanned look she sends to Klaus once he responds to his younger sister, "it does occasionally have its uses."

The Sterling rolls her eyes at his remark since he seemingly acts like he didn't just full-on confess his feelings for her a few days before. She nudges the Mikaelson's side, he only shrugs, "easier than torturing him." Cassia couldn't help but agree with him, though, she doesn't show it, not in the mood to inflate his already large ego.

"We have something to do," Rebekah declares for herself and Cassia, eager to get her hands on a certain raven-haired vampire. Both of the originals then say simultaneously, "what do you need from me for this spell?" "Do you need anything for me?"

"Just your blood and your blessing. Where are you going?"

Rebekah responds, stating that she had some unfinished business with Damon Salvatore before turning to the Sterling and asking if she was coming. She nods all the while still looking at the reunited couple by the stairs, a soft smile on her lips. Swiftly turning, Cassia goes to follow the girl before being spun around into someone's chest. Surprised, she flails around for a second until she realized who had been holding her. Placing her hands on his chest, she peers up at him and gives a look asking why he stopped her.

Giving her a response, he questions, "and where are you going?" Plastering on her stunning grin, she states, "helping Rebekah, of course." Her tone becoming slightly more mischievous as she goes into slightly more detail, "what better bonding time than torturing an idiot vampire who dared mess with my Bekah?" At her remarks, the Mikaelson glanced over her features, his eyes full of adoration darting to her lips. Contemplating if he should, he decides to.

Smirking, he pulls her closer to him, kissing her passionately, proud of how she adapted so quickly and into their ways. Flustered, Cassia pulled back from him, her expression matching his.

"See you later," she comments softly as she pecks his lips once more before walking with an extra skip in her step, towards the door and out the mansion.

"Hello," Cassia chirps from behind him.

"Damon, was it?" Before she was able to get a proper response out of him, he lets out a pained groan as her friend plunges a machete into his back from in front of him. Taking that as a yes, the Sterling leans forward close to his ear and continues, "well Damon, you should learn well to know that you don't mess with the Mikaelsons, any of them."

The Salvatore only groans once more, his head rolling to the side tiredly, "or what? You'll come for me?" Yet the Sterling only chuckled at his pathetic view on her, "oh darling, you should learn not to underestimate me."

Opening his mouth, surprisingly instead of groan, he lets out a scoff at her threat. "Oh come on, really? You are really starting to make me believe that you're just some groupie," he quips, still cheeky as ever.

Hearing the unknown term, Cassia's brows furrow and she pops her head above Damon's shoulder, asking, "Beks, what is a groupie?"
