I woke up to the sound off birds chirping outside my bedroom window. I opened my eyes only to squint them for the sun's rays were too bright. It was a lovely Thursday morning and the blue sky that hovered above us with a few cotton white clouds hanging in the sky. Birds flew high in the sky and I couldn't help but feel envious of them. They got to fly around without a care, all the food they need is there and they aren't the one being caged like a herd of cattle.

Not like I was but it was the people around me that were.

Shaking my head, I sat up and got out of bed and went to take a quick shower. As I opened the tap and cold water hit my peach coloured skin, I sighed out in relief. It was rare to have hot water because almost all of it is taken inside Wall Sina for the Military Police and aristocrats. Luckily for me, I had gotten used to the cold water and preferred it over hot water.

After five minutes, I hopped out and changed into my white long sleeved blouse that I folded till my elbows with a blue knee lengthed skirt and black flat shoes. I brushed long my black hair and let it flow down my back and some over my shoulder. Once I was satisfied with my appearance, I walked out of the room and headed in the kitchen.
