Meg and Normani went into the living room and I went to follow them but there was another knock at the door. When opened it I saw Mr. Hamilton

"Where's my daughter?" He asked

"Uhm, I-"

"Listen don't play dumb with me, your already on thin ice with me. Where is Normani?" He asked this time inviting himself into my house

"Dad, what are you doing here?" I heard from the living room

I went to see what was going on. Mr. Hamilton got a hold of Normani's hand and started for the door again

"The way your acting makes me feel like I did you wrong, and I hardly know you. So what if your daughter hangs out with me it's not the end of the world" I spoke up

"You keep quiet, I'm her parent and if I feel like my daughter shouldn't be around you then I'm gonna do as I feel"

"And you, I got a big bone to pick with you" he said to Normani before grabbing her arm and leaving

"Where'd Mani go?" Meg asked

"Her dad took her home. He's staring to piss me the fuck off" I replied and went to the kitchen to make something to eat

Its about 8 right now, Megan and I are getting ready for the party.

"Have you heard from Normani?" Meg asked as she finished up her make up

"Nope, I don't think she's is coming" I said lowkey disappointed that I won't get to see her again tonight

"That sucks. She's 18, she's able to make her own decisions without her parents bombarding her"

"True, but I guess its different because she's the daughter of a pastor" I said

She shrugged and said she was ready

We headed towards the door and as soon as I opened it I was met with Normani dressed in a matching skirt suit with my jacket over it

"I guess I'm just in time" she said

"H-hey" I stuttered causing her to laugh lightly

"H-hey to you too" she smiled

"Ooh girl you look cute, I just know them boys gonna be all over you" Meg said and the thought of it made me cringe and get a little jealous

"We really thought you weren't coming" Meg added

"I snuck out" Normani answered like it was nothing.

"Ooh, we gon' fuck it up tonight!" Meg yelled and Normani joined in on the cheering

I can already tell tonight is gonna be a wild night

We made it to the party. It was jam packed but because I know the person hosting the party, we got in the V.I.P area

I held Normani's hand as we walked through the crowd, I liked the feeling of her hands locked with mine

We made it to one of the tables and we sat down, ordered some drinks, I spotted my friend and called her over

"Aye Khel!" I yelled over the music, she looked around before looking over at me, she made her way over to us

Meg was already downing a bottle and Normani was spipping on some Henny

"You made it, wassup bro" she greeted and dapped me up

"You know I had to slide through. Oh, you already know Megan, this is Normani, my neighbor. Normani this is Kehlani my other best friend" I said introducing the two
