Chapter 59

~Same Day~10:05 p.m.~
~Safaree POV~
I pull up to the house and I see someone standing outside so,I slowly get out the car and I talk into my microphone.
Safaree:Don't come out until I say so.
Wayne:Alright.
Drake:Okay.
I then walked towards the person and I saw the persons face and it was Byron.
Safaree:Where is she?
Byron:You think it's that easy?
Safaree:Why didn't you just take me instead?
Byron:That would've been too easy.
Safaree:Take me too her.
Byron:Alright. As you wish.
I follow him inside the house,but I look around the house as I walk just in case something happens and I walk up the stairs and he opens a door and I see Nicki standing up facing the window so,I go behind her and she turns around and she clings on too me.
Nicki:We need too get out of here.
Safaree:I got it. Come in guys.
I turned around and I saw Byron and Christian pointing guns at me so,I moved Nicki behind me.
Safaree;You sure you want to do this?
Byron:You stole the captain spot from me.
Safaree:It wasn't my fault I was a great football player.
Byron:Well,they're about to lose their captain.
Safaree:How?
When I said that I felt 2 piercing pains in my thigh and I fell to the floor immediately and I was losing a lot of blood.
~Nicki POV~
I can't believe they shot him. I took my shirt off and I wrapped it around his leg and when I was finished Drake,Wayne,and A.J. came in the room and they rushed to Safaree and they helped him up and they carried him to the car and I drove him to the hospital.
~At The Hospital~11:29 p.m.~
We all are sitting down in the lobby hoping for good news from the doctors,but nothing yet.
Drake:He'll be okay Nic.
Nicki:How do you know that?
Wayne:Nic. Calm down.
Nicki:No! When you have somebody shot right in front of you tell me!
That's when I lost it and I walked out the hospital and I just stood there in the cold until I felt somebody hug me from the behind.
Wayne:I'm sorry Nic. You just need to think about the positive things.
Nicki:What positive things?! Their are none.
Wayne:Let's just go back and sit down.
We went back in and sat down then a doctor came out.
Dr.:Safaree Samuels?
I then got up and I ran to the doctor.
Nicki:How is he?
Dr.:The bullets were deep,but we managed to get them out. He's asleep,but he'll be fine.
Nicki:What room is he in?
Dr.:117.
Nicki:Thank you.
I ran to his room and when I got to his door I took a deep breath and was preparing to what I was about to see and when I opened the door I saw him attached to machines and him sleeping so, I walked beside him and I took his hand in mine and I just stared at him then,I was interrupted by everybody coming in.
Kelly:How is he?
Nicki:They said he's going to be okay.
A.J.:If theirs anything you need you can ask.
Nicki:Thanks you guys. I really appreciate it.
Wayne:We about to get something to eat. You want anything?
Nicki:Just bring me anything.
Wayne:Aight. He'll be okay Nic.
Nicki:Thanks.
They left the room and I just looked at him and then I saw him open his eyes.
Nicki:Safaree?
Safaree:Nicki?
Nicki:I'm here.
Safaree:What happened?
Nicki:You got shot by Byron and Christian.
Safaree:You didn't get hurt did you?
Nicki:No. I'm fine,but you have recovering to do.
Safaree:I hate hospitals.
Nicki:Well,I had to take you here.
Then the doctor came in with a clipboard.
Dr.:Aw. Mr.Samuels. Your awake. So,do you want the good news or bad news?
Safaree:Good News.
Dr.:Okay. You get to leave in 2 days.
Safaree:Bad News.
Dr.:You can't play any sports for 2 months.
Safaree:What?!
Dr.:The bullets did it. Anyway,Ms.Maraj you need to exit.
Nicki:Come on Thomas. Can I stay tonight?
Dr.:Fine Onika. Your lucky I love you.
Nicki:Thank you Tom!!
Dr.:Shhh. Be quiet.
He then exited out the room and I laid down on the couch.
Safaree:Nicki.
Nicki:What?
Safaree:Can you lay with me?
Nicki:Your hurt.
Safaree:I'll never be hurt enough to not sleep with you.
Nicki:Awww. Fine.
I got up and I got in the bed with Safaree and I put my face in his neck and I fell asleep.
Safaree:Night baby girl.
