Chapter 10

~Same Day~ ~6:34 P.M.~
~Nicki POV~
I woke up on my stomach and no Jacobi beside me then,I heard Safaree's voice then a laugh from Safaree's room so,I know he's safe so I get my phone off my dresser then put my hair is a pony-tail and go in Safaree's room and sits in his lap.
Nicki:Hey.
Safaree:Now your awake.
Nicki:What happened?
Safaree:I didn't know how to change his diaper so I asked Candi
Nicki:It's easy.
Safaree:You were crying in your sleep. Why?
Nicki:I miss Wayne Faree.
Then I cry into Safaree's chest and I feel his head on my head and his hands rubbing my back.
Safaree:It's going to be alright Nic.
Nicki:I need to see him.
Safaree:You'll see him soon. I promise.
~Safaree POV~
I felt so bad so,all I did was rub her back and rock her back and forth and in 5 minutes she was asleep so,I just tucked her into my bed,got my phone,then took Jacobi and his bag downstairs so Nicki could get some good sleep and when I reached the final step I saw Lauren and Candi looking at me.
Safaree:What?
Lauren:You need to hear the real story about Wayne.
Safaree:Alright.
I went into to living room with them and sat down on the couch and he put Jacobi in his carrier and began rocking it so he could fall asleep since he hasn't gone to sleep since earlier.
Lauren:Wayne's real name isn't Wayne. It's Dwayne. Like Nicki told you.
Candi:He was a drug dealer and one day something happened.
Safaree:What happened?
~Flashback~
(Nicki was 11 and Wayne was 14)
~Wayne POV~
I don't have all his money and if I don't give it to him my family is dead. Let me call Nika.
~Phone Convo~
N:Hey bro.
W:Hey Nic. You home by yourself?
N:Yea. Why?
W:Make sure all the doors are locked.
N:Wayne what's happening? Your making me scared.
W:Just do as I say and I'll be there later.
N:Alright Dwayne. Just be safe okay?
W:I will. Love you.

I hate her being home by herself and she's my responsible until mom and dad come home.
~Nicki POV~
I'm upstairs doing homework and I hear and I hear a big bang downstairs and I don't know where it came from. So,I got up locked my door,went into my closet,closed the door,and called Wayne.
~Phone Convo~
W:What's wrong?
N:Somebody broke in the house.
W:Oh my goodness. Where are you?
N:In my room closet.
W:Stay there. I'm on my way.
N:Please hurry up Wayne.
W:I'm coming.
~Wayne POV~
I got to the house and I see 2 black cars in the driveway and I start thinking about what could happen so,I go to the front door and unlock it and go in to see the guy I owed money too.
U:So,where's my money?
D:I'll give it to you ASAP.
Then I hear a scream then I see someone carrying my sister downstairs.
D:Leave her alone!
U:Or what?
D:Please don't hurt her. She's my responsibility.
Then a car comes into the driveway and it's their parents.
D:My parents are here.
Then their parents come in the door and see all these people in the house.
Mama Carol:Who are these people?
Nicki then escaped and ran to her dad and hugged him tightly.
D:I can explain.
Mama Carol:Explain what Dwayne?! Your going to be living with your uncle. As for you gentlemen I will be calling the police. I'm disappointed in you Dwayne.
~End Of Flashback~
Lauren:That's why he's never here. Mama Carol doesn't like him being around Nicki.
Safaree:I'm going to do a family reunion when they come here.
Candi:You sure you want to do that?
Safaree:If it will make Nicki happy again then yes. I will do it.
Lauren:Just don't cause a controversy.
Safaree:I'll try not too. Any of you have Wayne's number?
Lauren:I do. I still keep in touch with him. He likes to check-up on Nicki. I'll give it too you.
Safaree:Thanks.
Lauren:Jacobi is so adorable.
Safaree:I know. He's going to be handsome when he's older.
Then there is a knock at the door and everyone looks at the other.
Lauren:You expecting anyone?
Safaree:Probably Nic's guest. I'll get it. Come on Jacobi.
Safaree gets his blanket and picks up Jacobi and puts it over him then,he goes to answer the door and when he opens the door he doesn't know her.
Safaree:May I help you?
Kelly:Nicki called me and told me to come over.
Safaree:Alright. Come in.
Kelly then comes in and that's when Nicki comes downstairs and her hair is down.
Nicki:Hey Kelly. Sorry I didn't tell you Safaree.
Safaree:It's alright. I was with Lauren,Candi,and Cobi.
Nicki:Give me my baby.
Nicki then takes Jacobi out of his hands and when Jacobi sees Nicki he instantly starts smiling.
Nicki:Aw. He already likes me. Well,I'm taking him upstairs with me. Bye peoples.
Lauren:Bye Nic.
Nicki:Bye. Come on Kelly. You know what all girls upstairs in my room.
Safaree:I'm lonely. Let me tell Drake to wake his ass up.
Nicki:Call James and your other peeps.
Safaree:I'll be ordering a pizza.
Nicki:Order me one as well.
Safaree:Alright.
Nicki:Let's go.
~Nicki POV~
Me and the girls are in my room and we're cracking up laughing.
Nicki:So,Kelly how's everything going for you?
Kelly:Great. Ready for this baby to be out.
Lauren:How far are you along?
Kelly:I'll be 7 months on the 8th.
Candi:Your birthday Nic.
Nicki:I know. And your having twins right?
Kelly:Yep. 2 girls.
Lauren:Oh wow.
Nicki:You should name one after me.
Kelly:I am. Onika Tania Williams and Madison Chloe Williams.
Nicki:I feel happy.
Kelly:Can I spend the night?
Girls:Of course.
Kelly:Are you sure? I don't want to intrude.
Nicki:I have 1 extra room that hasn't been used. You can have it.
Kelly:Thank you Onika.
Nicki:Your welcome. Let me go downstairs and see what these boys are doing.
I then go downstairs with a sleep Jacobi on my shoulder and I see Safaree,Trey,Drake,James,and A.J.
Nicki:What up A.J.
A.J.:Nothin much. I heard you guys won the game.
Safaree:We beat them bad. Just 2 more games.
Nicki:Pizaa come yet?
Safaree:On the counter.
Nicki:Here's your son.
Safaree:Oh. He's sleep you guys probably bored him.
Nicki:We did not.
I then go into the kitchen and see 2 boxes of pizza and they say NICKI!
~Safaree POV~
Trey:You had a baby?
Safaree:Nah. Michele couldn't take care of him so,she gave him to me.
James:What's his name?
Safaree:Jacobi.
Drake:Nice. I'm going to sleep so night y'all.
Safaree:Night.
~11:00 P.M.~
Everybody left except Kelly,Lauren,Candi,and Drake. And everybody is sleep especially Jacobi so,I made sure all the doors were locked and went upstairs with Jacobi and put him in his crib,took off my shirt,and layed down with Nicki.
Safaree:Night baby.
