I smile down at my phone butterflies swarm my stomach ache like a schoolgirl with a crush. This is the first time in a long time where I've felt so much excitement and anticipation.

The feelings of giddy excitement were extinguished. Completely being overtaken when a message from Oikawa appears on my lock screen. I hover over the notification, curiosity urging me to open the message while my logic convinces me to ignore it.

Nothing's going to ruin tonight. Not second thoughts, not outfit malfunctions, and definitely not an old fling.

After a quick shower, I styled my hair. Finally, dressing up in straight black jeans, a black sports bra, and an oversized beige hoodie. I slide on my Off-White Jordan 4s, some gold rings, and to top it off, a few sprits of my go-to perfume.

I probably should've stayed in the shower longer or done a more dramatic make-up look because now I'm just anxiously waiting for Rin's arrival. I finished getting ready over half an hour ago, and he still hasn't arrived. Did he forget? Or decided to flake out on me?
