We stare at each other for a while, him staring at me emotionlessly and I staring at him in pure shock.
My shock turns to anger as I see him healthy and perfectly fine.
"Where were you Landon." I say rather angrily.
He just stares at me observing my every move.
"Do you not know how worried I was ?" I tell him raising my voice now.
"It's been weeks Landon, and all I could think about was you." I exaggerate.

I stop my sentence as he stands up and walks over to me, limping.
I furrow my eyebrows in confusion as he stands in front of me.
"Why are you walking like that?" I whisper out.
He lifts his shirt up and my eyes widen as I see the side of his ribs.
There was a white bandage over it, dried blood covered on the bandage too.
"Got shot." He says emotionlessly as he stares at me.
I gasp and instantly go over to him.
"Oh my god." I whisper as I inspect his wound.
"How?" I ask him as my fingers graze his chest.
He stares down at me blankly not saying a word.
All of a sudden I'm being pulled into his chest, his arms wrapped around me warmly as he holds my body in his.
I hesitantly wrap my arms around his neck lightly, not wanting to hurt him.
"Layla." He mumbles into my neck.
"Yeah?" I reply quietly.
"Hug me." He says pulling my body tighter against him.
"No. I don't want to hurt you." I tell him.
He scoffs and replies.
"Fuck that, I'm fine." He tells me.
I sigh and pull him to me.
His head rested on my shoulder as mine rested on his chest.
We stayed like this for a while until I broke it.
I moved away from him and sat on the bed.
He watched me as I looked down at my hands and began playing with them.
I heard him sigh and walk over to the bed.
He sat down on the edge and ran a hand through his hair before turning to me.
