"No." I say seriously.

His face drops and his eyes go cold.

I pull away from him but only to be brought back to his chest.

"Why?" He says as his voice goes dark.

I look into his eyes and couldn't hold my act anymore.

I bite my lip and smile up at him.

"I'm kidding. Yes, I'll be yours Landon." I say to him and smash my lips against his.

I feel him smile against my lips and I felt my heart accelerate.

His lips moved against mine softly and slowly.

He pulls back after a while to let me breathe, and he rests his head against my own.

"You scared me." He says looking into my eyes.

I laugh and rest my head on his speeding heartbeat.

"I'm sorry." I say looking back up at him through my lashes.

He looks down at me and shakes his head and leans down to my cheek.

"Your perfect Layla." He says kissing my cheek.

"As you are too, Landon." I say softly looking into his eyes.

He smiles at me as small dimples form his cheeks.

I reach up and kiss his right dimple and lean my head on his shoulder.

He leans back and tilts my head up to face him.

"Turn around." He commands.

I do as he says, and feel him move my hair over my shoulder.

I suddenly feel his fingers come around my neck as he lingers them against my skin.

Goosebumps rise as I feel a cold material sit against my neck.

I look down and see a silver chain with a heart.

It was beautiful.

It had a simple heart placed in the middle of the chain with diamonds engraved into it.

Landon clasps the necklace and turns me around.

"It's beautiful," I say breathlessly.

He leans down to my ear and whispers,

"I'm glad you like it, love."

He places a gentle kiss against my neck before leaning back.
