'Whatever she left for must be really urgent if she didn't bother locking my cell.'

You took one last glance around before moving your head close to your hand and grabbing a bobby pin from your hair. You silently thanked past you for always keeping a few on you and learning how to pick locks with them.

As you angled the bobby pin, the sound of insects could be heard again so you immediately dropped it, knowing if you even tried to put it back and they caught you — you'd be dead. This time it was the other two. Your gaze landed on the sister to the left — Cassandra — whom you had nearly killed.

"I'm sorry," Your voice was hoarse as the words left you, a weak cough following shortly after. "But please... I've still not recovered from la—"

A pained scream ripped through you as she sliced your side with her sickle before licking the blood off of it. You internally cringed, knowing if you hadn't been so weak you, probably, would've found that hot.

"Shut up," She hissed and grabbed your face. "Mother said we're done torturing you until all of your injuries heal anyway. That's the only reason we came down here."

And with that, she disappeared into a swarm of flies. The other sister — silent through the whole exchange — took one step forward and place her sickle against your throat. "I can't wait until we can hear your screams again. They are so lovely!"

With a giggle, she disappeared too, leaving you alone once more. A few hours had passed before you heard flies approaching again, this time finding it difficult to keep your eyes open. Silence filled the air for a moment, as if whichever sister was there was contemplating something.

Soon the door to the cell unlocked and creaked open, causing your gaze to lift slightly — enough to see that whichever sister it was had a med kit in her hands. The cell door was left cracked open as she set the med kit down and grabbed your face.
