"Walk, Morgy." Mari cheered.

"Puedes caminar?" She went on speaking Spanish while Morgan looked up at her, understanding and nodding her head.

"Let me see then." Mari encouraged and she began slowly walking as Mari cheered her on.

She'd then ended up grabbing her hand and pulling her along as fast as she could as they made their way over to family who immediately clung to Morgan.

"So you don't want to get out? You want to just sit here?" I asked Gi, returning back to our conversation now and he shrugged, lighting up his blunt.

"I ain't on shit, ma."

"I'm just not fuckin' with my mama and I already know she bout' to be on sum' when she see my baby."

"Yeah but we can't hide her forever, Gi." I expressed to him and he licked his lips angrily.

"That's not what I'm saying to you."

"So what do you want, Gi? What do you want me to do?" I pointed to myself, getting upset now.

It was like he just wanted to sit here and sulk instead of making a decision on what he wanted. That's really irritating.

"Just tell me what you want, Giovanni. Do you not want to be here? Do you not want Morgan to meet her family?" I asked and he shrugged his shoulder nonchalantly.

"I don't know, I just ain't feeling this."

"Shit, if I'm being honest, I'd rather be in the crib fuckin' you right now." He spoke bluntly and I rolled my eyes at him, stepping out of the car all together.

As I did, I held my stomach, feeling slight heaviness from the fact that I was pregnant again. I was only two months and no one knew but I could feel it tremendously. And I had plans on speaking up and telling everyone today at the game but now I had Giovanni being stubborn and dramatic in the car.

As usual.

"Oh my god, Hi, Madi." Everybody began speaking to me as I walked up alone and they all seemed to crowd around me, instantly taking me in.

"How are you, mamí?"

"I haven't seen you since last year's game." One of Gi's aunts went on and I smiled small, not even trying to think about last game.

I wanted today to be perfect. No useless drama like last time.

"This is you and big head's babygirl, right?" She then asked, pointing to Morgan who was currently being passed around by a large group of people like a hot potato.

"Yeah." I smiled, not really liking the fact that every one was taking turns holding her but it was a family event.

I'd expected all of this.

"Oh my god, she's precious." She cooed, walking over and grabbing her little hand while she was being held by one of Gi's uncles now.

"Look at the pretty baby. Such a pretty little baby." She cooed to her and everybody watched in awe while Morgan looked up at them in complete confusion.

I couldn't help but to smile, watching as everybody enjoyed her. I knew Gi wouldn't like it though, that was his whole reasoning for not wanting to be here.

He didn't want people around Morgan especially not his mom but she was no where in sight yet so that was a plus.

"Is that my sobrina?!" I heard someone say loudly, making everybody look before Nat came walking up and quickly grabbed Morgan away from her uncle.

"Hey, Madison. I didn't even know y'all were here."

"Look at my baby, I missed you." She cooed to Morgan, making her laugh.

"Yeah. We just got here, Nat." I smiled, watching as Morgan's deep dimples poked in., looking up at Nat with her brown eyes.

She loved her auntie.

"I figured. I was looking for y'all a few minutes ago, everybody was saying y'all weren't here yet."

"What he mad or something?" She asked with tooted lips, pointing behind me and I turned around seeing Gi's tall lanky body walking up behind us all.

"Mhm." I rolled my eyes in irritation and she scoffed as she turned back toward everybody else, letting everyone have their time with Morgan.

While she did, I felt Gi's figure come up behind me as he bent down to kiss my cheek before speaking deeply in my ear.

"I apologize to you, mamí."

"I ain't never mean to upset you." His deep voice filled my ears as he began to trail soft kisses down my neck before standing up straight again.

"I accept your apology." I spoke softly, turning toward him as I looked up into his eyes.

"Just stop being so stubborn and enjoy today."

"Okay?" I asked seriously and he nodded in agreement.

"Aight, whatever you want." He said and I couldn't help but to smile, making him do the same.

"Aye, man. Ain't no lovey dovey shit today. The game about to start and it's girls versus boys again this year." One of Gi's uncles spoke loudly, breaking us away from each other as we both looked to him.

"Man.." Gi chuckled, smiling wide now before he placed a soft kiss onto my lips and we went our separate ways like we usually do here.

"What's up with you, Tío? How you been?" He went on saying and they began talking while I looked over to Maribel who was now holding Morgan again.

"Mari-" I started but stopped as Gi cut me off, instantly speaking up before I could.

"Yo, babygirl. Put her down." He spoke sternly and Mari did as told letting Morgan walk again.

I smiled to myself, watching as he began to mingle but paid close attention to both me and Morgan.

I honestly couldn't believe this was my life now and I enjoyed every minute of it.
