"So, which school did you choose?" Hermione asked, looking across the library at her daughter.
"Obviously Hogwarts," Darling answered, looking up from her book. "If wouldn't need to buy any textbooks and materials, do I? I have practically everything I need."
She took out the list of items from the envelope. It read:
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Uniform
First-year students will require :
1. Three sets of plain work robes (Black)
2. One plain pointed hat (Black)
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter coat (Black, silver fastenings)

All students should have a copy of each of the following :

A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot
Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling
A Begunner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch

1 Telescope
1 Set Brass Scales
Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad
"I only need my robes and wand, plus a few extra materials," Darling told her mother, softening her volume at the last statement.
"By EXTRA MATERIALS, do you mean MORE quills, ink pots and parchments?" Hermione sighed. Hearing this, darling nodded sheepishly. "It's fine. Owl me if you need more at Hogwarts. I won't be there this term."
Darling whispered a quick apology as Hermione left the room to find her younger siblings.
