                                              On the wings of love
we built a life together,
Our love has carried us
through fair and stormy weather. 
                          On the wings of love
we've laughed and we've cried;
It's been many a year now
Oh my, what a ride! 
                          On the wings of love
I bore our two children,
who have brought us such joy
time and time again. 
                          On the wings of love
you carried me through
my darkness that threatened
both them, me and you! 
                          You never lost patience 
nor ever let me forget
how much you loved me 
and had no regret. 
                          You said, "If you're not happy, 
I will let you go.
I will never hate you
because I love you so." 
                          I cried many tears that day
my sweet love, I knew
I had found my Prince Charming
and a love that was true! 
                          When you put my happiness
above your very own,
I knew I had true love
and I'd never be alone! 
                          I made up my mind
right then and there--
from then through eternity
We'd always remain a pair... 
                          on the wings of love.
