A deep breath followed by a sharp pain near her heart
Ahra takes in ragged breath as she tries to calm herself down and waits for the pain to subside. She should've been used to it by now, she's lived this way her whole life. But she just can't seem to get used to it whenever the pain just sneaks in unexpectedly.
The clenching feeling in her lungs grows some more, then lessens a little, then a bit more. and soon its all gone. Like it never even came.
Dextrocardia. A rare heart condition in which your heart points toward the right side of your chest instead of the left side.
It was congenital, Ahra had it from birth.
And she hated it.
