She wanted nothing more than to break down but she couldn't, she had too much on her plate and term two hadn't even officially started yet.

"I was about to say, I swear I've never seen you wear glasses before" He mentioned setting down his laptop

"Well baby I'm just going to sit here and get on with my own work, if that's alright with you. Just tap me if you want any help" he offered as he sat down at the table.

"Help? Theo I do fashion, I don't know if you-" she started

"You're saying I'm not fashionable?"

"It's not that, but do you even know how and why high end brands are beginning to incorporate cryptocurrency into their fashion?" She asked, knowing damn well that Theo knew nothing about what she was researching.

Well she thought that.

Turning to Naomi with a knowing smile, Theo spoke. "Yes, because brands like Gucci have seen the major impact that cryptocurrency has had over the world and has created special items, which can be bought using cryptocurrency but not owned in person because it's apart of its crypto fashion collection, so it's all digital, just like the money. They did this to get a new and broader demographic interested in buying their stuff" Theo explained

"Wait what?" Naomi raised her eyebrows at what had just come out of Theo's mouth. How did he know all of that?

"I'm an accounting and finance guy. That's my course. I know everything there is to know about money and especially new money. Fashion is just a bonus" he smiled at Naomi's shocked expression

"Well can you repeat what you just said, that would be a great paragraph for my visual report" she asked

"Sure baby" Theo laughed, beginning to repeat what he had just explained to her.

Over the next few hours they surprisingly sat there in silence, with the both of them glancing up at each other every now again.

They couldn't help it.

They both just wanted to make sure the other was still there and okay.

They cared.

Numerous times, Theo had seen Naomi sigh out of frustration and tap her head, refusing to itch it and then she'd try to move her ponytail, as if pulling a single strand one stop the pain.

She repeated these actions frequently over the past few hours and it was annoying him. He couldn't understand why she was putting herself in so much pain for a hairstyle.

"Just let it out baby" he spoke as he watched her do it again

"Theo, my hair doesn't go down" she stated, pushing her glasses back up the bridge of her nose.

"I know, that's why I said out, you're in pain, let me help you" he offered as she made no move to stop him.

Pulling her hairband out of her hair, Theo watched her curls puff out and heard the sigh of relief Naomi let out after he had done it.

He couldn't help but watch on in pure admiration as he saw her comb her fingers through her hair a few times, making her hair actually stay down in a somewhat slicked top style.

It looked good.

He couldn't help but admire her hair curly hair which framed her face, showing off the curl pattern like a cloud, as it touched her shoulders.

"Theo stop staring at me" Naomi sighed as she already had done her best to stop him from seeing her natural hair out, but it looked like today was the day he was going to see it. She didn't want him staring. It made her feel insecure. Was he chatting shit in his head? Was he going to ask a dumb question about it? Was he going to try and touch it?
