"I'll probably be next door for the next couple days." Ranboo says as we approach my house,

"I'll visit if I can, my parents might be mad about me skipping today, and if they find about Keira they will be livid—" I start to worry.

"Hey don't worry too much about that okay?" he assures, tucking a stray hair away from my face.

"okay" I nodded, reassuring myself.

"everything will be ok."

I didn't even notice my Mom's car pull in a couple minutes later.

"I got a call from the school today" she said, opening the door.

"uh—yeah I wasn't feeling too well—I needed a break" My anxiety instantly rose,

"why weren't you feeling too well?"

"just—going to school in general y'know, Keira's been weird" I didn't dare mention the 'incident' from today, I had no idea how she would react.

"Keira? She's a nice girl, maybe you should be nicer to her, she could be going through a tough time and you wouldn't know!"

"Maybe..." my guilt towering by the minute.

"I don't know what's gotten into you..." she stressed,

"what do you mean?"

"talking bad about your friends, skipping school, you're on that computer all day long..." she listed numerous things,

"yeah—y-you're right—im sorry"

"you should just think about others before yourself Luvena" she reminded,

"yeah...im really sorry" I sighed, overwhelmed with my mother's words.

"its fine—just go play your games or something" she waved it off, still obviously annoyed with me, "we'll talk about this later"
